We had dinner a couple of days ago. I had the ribs which were tasty but didn't have have the caramelized flavour I was hoping for. The steak my husband had was good.
Loved it, cool place great atmosphere. Food was well priced and tasty. Great range of beer.
My meal portion was half the size of my friends and . I ordered the Porterhouse house steak meal. My two friends ordered a chicken meal and spare rib meal. My portion size was tiny compared to theirs. I cannot recommend the Whaler Bar.
The meal was huge!! Great value for money. Food quality was top notch. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Would love to go back. Highly recommend it!!
I personally loved the food and service. I may have over ordered in the pork ribs, but it tasted sooo good and eventually had to share. Overall, I recommend this Bar and restaurant as one of your stops while in kaikoura
Upstairs outdoor seating. Happy Hr on Fridays. Beer standard price from $9 up. Friendly service
Great food, reasonably priced, great service. Reccomended visit. We had the battered Hoki and chips, bloody marvelous!
