Excellent cafe right next to the river. Even more special because of the children’s playground and animals to pet.
We arrived at 13.00 on a Wednesday and unfortunately the cafe was closed. No signs regarding opening days/times. The weir was amazing though.
Lovely cafe beside the river Severn and weir. There are outdoor seating and a children's play area. It's got a field with goats, geese and turkeys. Very peaceful location.

Children can experience the 'call of the wild' as Turkeys, Goats and Sheep roam near their play area . A super place to sit and watch the world go by.
Great location, fantastic staff with a good selection of food and drinks. Kids play area , as well as some friendly goats to keep the young ones occupied. Great views of the weir and the river severns walks.
Nice spot right on the weir opposite Underdale Shrewsbury, Severn was in flood when I was there so the path to town along the river was flooded so walked up the hill and over the railway bridge into town. Cafe by the weir good for drink and bite to eat.Food: 3/5
Excellent place to stop off for a bite to eat, and sit and watch the river. Especially when the salmon are leaping. Great play area for the kids and dog friendly.
Popped to have a cuppa and so my son could have a play. It was so lovely sitting watching him and listening to the sound of the weir and river. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff were lovely and all covid precautions were followed. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend
Lovely setting within a small holding with turkeys, goats and geese! Good value coffee and snacks and great views of the River Severn weir.
Great little Caffè in such a nice tranquil location directly opposite the weir which is lovely in any weather so peaceful & a lovely coffee an bite to eat. Highly recommended
