Grilled Barramundi and Char Grilled 200G Loin were exceptionally well done! Black and White Prawns Entrée was also very nice. Great service to top it off! Will look at coming back when we can
Delicious food! Fantastic environment! Friendly staff. Girlfriend and I had a great night here. Thanks.
Had dinner here on a Friday night. We turned up a little early so was happy to see they had a little bar we could sit at for a little while and have a drink. The bar staff were really friendly and they had a couple of craft bets which we like. Then we were seated on the verandah for dinner. 3 courses we had and they were all superb. Pricey. .. But I guess you get what you pay for. The service was excellent. Can't fault this restaurant and look forward to going back there.
The food and service were excellent once again! I am a local St Georges Basin and have been to your restaurant a few times in the past and have always been impressed. On this occasion I had my in-laws here from Griffith NSW Italians who love their food and they were equally impressed. We also had our new born with us and all the staff were really accommodating of our needs. In particular, our waiter for the night, a young lad who said he had just started working at your restaurant, was just great. Cheers for a great night and we will see you again soon, Jet, Lisa and Isla.
Even though they were short staff, everyone chipped in and it was a great experience. Had the surf and turf which was delicious. Good wine list, and decent choice available by the glass too. Best high end dinner restaurant in the area. highly recommend!
Lovely atmosphere & one of the fancier establishments round these parts. If it's a cold day, book the table in the back by the woodfire & if it's sunny, head out to the front patio or small backyard area for more privacy. Service was good but food was a little hit & miss. The burgers & chips were really great duck fat chips! however the ala carte mains were pricey for the portion sizing & rather over seasoned. Decent alcohol selection as well.
Unfortunately not a great experience. The food was OK, how ever the burgers tasted like the patties were rissoles from Woolies. Our table was right next to the kitchen which was fine until we heard the chef complaining about two other tables orders/requests. when he got to our order we also overheard him complaining how some of our orders were without tomato on the sandwiches and burgers including lots of swearing about his customers and the " f-ing picky people and that we should pick our own offing food off if we don't like it". We thought out of a large group of 8, having 1 order with no pickles and 2 orders without tomato was not an unreasonable request, but even if it was inconvenient for the chef, to hear those comments and swearing really burst our mood and we couldn't get out of there quick enough, even though we had planned to stay for drinks. really dissapointing. We waited 50 min for our meals only burgers and sandwiches. The menu online is also different to what is on the physical menu. I must say though, the waitresses were all lovely and friendly. shame about the several abusive words we heard coming from the kitchen.
We had a lovely evening. The staff were very attentive and the food was great. I didn't like my desert and we were pleasantly surprised when we were told we didn't have to pay for it. Over all it was a wonderful night with a nice relaxed atmosphere. We will be back!
Ordered the John Dory and it was very oily and chewy. My partner ordered the garlic shrimp salad "small plate" which consisted of 6 small prawns and 1/4 cup of salad for $18! Maybe an appetiser but not a "small plate" dinner. At least the cocktails were good.
Had a lovely meal here, menu was varied and food well cooked and tasty. Casual inviting setting, service was great and staff were very attentive. Loved our lychee Martinis too!
