Will miss this place haven't had to butcher many of my own since they opened. Thought we really helped the business through covid when a lot of the export meat couldn't get delivered. Got a story about the legendary bobby Hackett. Herds buyer. Few complaints round town about steak bit tough not long after mb opened. Anyway at Warrnambool livestock market. Got on to vealers bobby buys the top pen has a pick asked a couple times who to book them down to.  Waits for everyone to quiten down. Yells out meatbarn the gallery erupted with laughter. Colin had sent him down to improve the steak quality.

It's in the title, a barn full of meat! You want bulk you got it! High quality steaks? Ready go!nIt's my dogs fave place to sit out side. The dribble lines down the outside of my ute are HUGE he gets a hand full of the diced chuck

I've found the range of meat available to be excellent and the produce to be of good quality. Specials worth looking at in a cost of living crisis but tend to be bigger amounts. My very fussy husband swears by the bulk bacon from here! The small range of fruit, veg & deli items are appreciated as there's always something you need and it's a bit of excursion to get here.

Staff at register was rude, chops I got were amazing.n$20+ roast chicken that I went to cook 2 days after purchase 5days until best before date was off it was slightly green and smelt really really bad.nI did not get a receipt and was not taking that meat back in to get a refund as it would have smelt the car out.nnWas very disappointed in the experience this time around.nnHowever I will go back at some point as Meat barn has been good in the past.
