Played mini golf 2 years in a row and it was great. Umbrellas for shade and logs to sit on. Plenty of places to loose ball in the water. There were lots of laughs and Kangaroos at the back fence close enough for good photos.Rooms: 3/5
POOR!!!!!! We stayed in the self catering villa. There are no pans to cook breakfast and when we enquired about it the staff was unwilling to help us saying we must use the pots??? It literally says in the villa that if you want coffee, tea and sugar to phone reception. When we did we were told we don’t qualify for it as we are in the self catering units. The staff at the resort are absolutely useless and in no mood to work. The inexperienced lot in the restaurant are so lacklustre and when we asked for simple things like decaf coffee we were dismissed. This “resort” is in no way up to the standards of other international resorts where you are treated like a guest and not an inconvenience. But worse of all; an ant infestation everywhere. In the oven, in the kitchen, in the bathrooms, in the beds when we slept , EVERYWHERE!!! The whole complex most certainly is poorly kept. So much maintenance needed. And worse even was the fact that there are ZERO BBQ facilities in these so called “self catering units”. Never again Vines!
Myself and my partner stayed midway through April for our anniversary and I just want to give a massive shout out to Kim. She was working at the vines cafe and bar and she went above and beyond to make everything so accommodating for us especially me as I’m pregnant. That’s 100% why I have given such high ratings too. She made it an experience to remember. It’s hard to find amazing customer service nowadays but I must say her customer service was so fantastic. She deserves all the praise and appreciation and I really hope she receives it! Honestly she is an asset to the resort and definitely a very cheerful and beautiful person who knows what customer service truly is. For this reason I 100% will be back. Myself and my partner couldn’t praise her enough. So a massive thank you Kim
The place was really nice, apart from the 2 roaches, which i guess despite the fact its $500 a night for our rooms we should expect it since "it's the country, theres insects". Quote from one of the front desk staff. Some of the staff were good with trying to make it up to us, but it wasn't quiet the ambience i wanted over my stay to celebrate my wedding.
Beautiful resort surrounded by two golf courses and ample wildlife. Breakfast is available 7 days from Muscat's with dinner Fri & Sat. Lunch & dinner is available 7 days from the cafe/bar. The resort also has gym with squash court, tennis courts, unheated pool, large hot spa. Golf & mini golf are extra. Accommodation is a mix of hotel rooms, apartments & condominiums.
Consistent excellence! As an Accor Vacation Club member I’ve been visiting the Vines for about 10 years. Apartments are always the highest quality; on-site services fantastic and all staff are efficient and helpful. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Beautiful place. Clean and quiet. Watching kangaroos on the golf course. Beautiful location. Romantic getaway for couples. Asian female staff on checkout was outstanding Rooms: Clean and spacious. Loved the balcony.
Absolutely disgusting Mothers Day Lunch. Paying $87 per person you would think the quality would be better. The food was tasteless and over cooked. The food ran out so quickly and they shoved over 100 people in a small little room. Really disappointing for a special occasion. Honestly would never eat there again.
The resort is unfortunately getting a bit "tired". It was still well maintained and clean, but the interior design / layout does look old compared to the newer hotels. Having said that - it is in the Swan Valley, and there's lots of nice places to eat and drink around there, and it's starting to feel more like Dunsborough / Margaret River.
Vinetastic. We go to the vines every year in Feb and March. The resort is so relaxing, I love to see the birds and roo's esp at sunset the pool is fab and I spend all day with a book just relaxing the day away. The pool lad Carl is great always smiling and making us laugh with his friendly banter he's ace . The food is great esp since they got rid of the caterers and have taken on a chef . A shout out to "T" in Muscats herself and the staff there are a credit to the resort they can't do enough for you and always with a smile . I always feel so relaxed at the vines , and never want to leave
