would be nice if they actually pick up the phone or have a website that actually works. or at least allow you to reschedule or book appointments by email so you are not on hold for at least an hour while the machine tells you you're 4th in place on the phone line. honestly waste of time trying to get a hold of this clinic. Dr. Reeves is very nice though so I'd recommend her if anyone still chooses to go to this clinic but going somewhere else would save you a lot of time and frustrations.
Dr Rolf and Dr Jacqui saved my life many times in the past three years. I am beyond grateful for them. They are very compassionate, respectful, and informative. They demonstrate excellent person-centred care and multidisciplinary teamwork with other healthcare professionals and educators.
I have been to the health center many times. everyone was supportive and warm, except the receptionist. I showed my great respect every time, but she just treated me badly. Super sad about this. We deserve basic respect.
Dr Rolf Tsui is by far the finest GP I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. His knowledge is truly remarkable, and he is exceptionally thorough with his practice; so much so that I have recommended multiple friends see him for their GP needs. The receptionist staff have always been friendly to me and nurses equally lovely, but do keep in mind that this practice, being an affiliate of the University of Melbourne, is only open to students, faculty, and associates of the University. Do be aware, however of the differing styles of each GP; this is a five-star review only due to my extreme satisfaction with the care Dr Tsui has provided me over the years; for I have had differing experiences with other GP's.
The worst heath services I have ever been to. Staff have attitude problem and that's due to poor communications, training and management. Everyone on the review section complaining about the poor attitude of the reception staff. In order to get a flu vaccine, they book you over the phone if you are a new patient or online without informing you about their "policy". At the centre they make you to line up in a tiny corridor with no airflow while wearing face mask just to get your "temperature". After a while you will let in to see a rude receptionist. That is when they tell you that you must see a doctor first, in order to see the nurse so he or she can administer a simple task like your flu shot. Surprise surprise, because that is their “policy” and asking question is forbidden. It is purely for the purpose of making money and robbing our Medicare. You are not allowed to complain about it because it means you confronting them! They basically telling you that you aren't paying the fee, Medicare does. I guess that makes it right. Their nurses aren’t fully qualified to administer a simple flu vaccine. This is another example by the university of Melbourne to abuse our poor managed healthcare system, make up policies and squeeze as much cash as it can from students, whom often seen as cash cows. Their con artist doctors should be ashamed of themselves and reception staff need to be re-educated and learn how to talk to people. This is an unethical business and not a heath care centre. Don't be waist your time and money, these cowboys don't care about your wellbeing, they just there to fill their pockets. I would give them negative rating if I could.
The least helpful! My husband was a stroke patient. He has been treated rudely by the receiptionist. The GP was also not helpful at all. They only provided telephone consultation and asked to pay the bill by phone. They called my husband. As my husband was unable to speak clearly and said to them he would ask me to call them and pay the bill. The receptionist rudely blamed my husband and said to him he just wouldn’t to pay. It hurts my husband as a stroke patient. He has disability and extremely unconfident to talk to stranger. As a staff working in an university health center, how can you talk to a patient in such a rude manner!!!!
Dr Fanny Lie is the most kind, caring and easy to talk to GP. Would 100% recommend her. The front desk staff has been helpful and kind. I always call for an appointment and hasn't had an issue. I tried booking online but found the system is bit complicated. So calling for an appointment is easier.
This one star is specifically for the reception staff. Dr Lie is excellent but their receptionist is unnecessarily rude and borderline aggressive for absolutely no reason.
The service is pathetic. They do not have appointments available. Although Dr. Jacqui is good but its a long wait time. I have waited one hour as I am writing this review. Staff isn’t that helpful in these cases as well.
Why would they hire the rudest and most unhelpful people as receptionists? Like it’s the complete opposite of how they should be? The doctors and nurses are pretty good I guess. Though this is not somewhere you should go to for immediate treatments. I had to wait months just to see a specialist.
