Beef short ribs sambal were fantastic, smokey soft and moist flesh, crisp burnt edges balanced by a spicy rich sauce. Fried oyster mushrooms were okay. Custom service was good, apologized when a mistake was made. Will go back for the ribs.

The Uleg might be understaffed and lacking in speed of service. I wouldn't recommend this if you're expecting a quick takeaway. The shortcomings in service are outweighed by the effort put into providing you with an authentically Indonesian dish. I think this sometimes more important that a quickly prepared meal.
We ordered Ayam Betutu, Kolak, and Es Cendol. They were very good and we recommend it so much. The service was very nice as well. Everything was wonderful, but one. We waited the food to be served for quite long. If you can manage it faster, we will give 5 stars. Thank you.
