Delicious Benny's Detention 17$. The hollandaise sauce was tasty and light on two poached eggs over a good serve of bacon. The large flat white was not strong 1 shot??, and not overly sugary. Staff are friendly, place is visually appealing, and popular with locals. Great for dates and potentially meetings. Memorable Detention

What a gem of a café, the quality of the coffee, food and service here was top notch. In fact, I would say they make one of the best Ham, Cheese & Tomato Toasted Sandwiches I've ever had, in fact I went back a second day and had the same!
The Two Professors: Pros: - A fantastic and friendly manager/owner assumed who personally makes your brews to a high quality. - Extensive range on cabinet foods they include Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free Options. - Smooth roasted beans that a absolutely delicious. They also offer a full range of alternative, healthy, and sustainable milks including Oat and Soy there’s more. Recommendations: - A potential recommendation if I missed this I’m sorry is a Vegan Gluten Free cabinet item for those who may be Coeliac and Vegan. Unfortunately we were unable to find a mix, only individual based items. This does not detract from the excellent atmosphere, already amazing variety of food, not quality of their coffee! Facilities/FAQ: - Significant amount of parking available - The perfect pick-me-up for a road trip when passing through Rockhampton or leaving Rockhampton early with a 0530 open. Summary: - I highly recommend The Two Professors for your daily coffee, the weekend brunch, road trip stop over, or your morning buzz before travelling from Rockhampton. Their atmosphere is welcoming and homely and their quality of coffee is even better! We’ll definitely be back for more next time we’re in Rocky!
Friendly service, not the fastest but they were very busy when I arrived, still got my order in a speedy fashion even with it being busy. Team had great communication while I was there, making sure they git every order done and out quickly without mistakes. I would definitely come back again, loved the menu options and variety they have Dietary restrictions: Has plenty of gluten free and vegan options available
Pretty disappointed after a half hour wait for takeaway from the cabinet. Chicken, bacon and avo filo was a little chicken and lots of a cheese sauce but no bacon or avo in it. Spinach, pumpkin and feta filo had barely if any feta in it. Coffee was good though.
I like the idea that the people behind this place out plenty of effort in doing their own coffee blends or "formula" as they call it, they also do other hot and cold beverages. However, the formula is missing an important ingredient; Service! My experience was lacking positive customer service, unless it's something only offered to local faces! Also, it's good to inform your customer that their order will take 15 mins to prepare! Anyhow, the Syphon house blend is ok, not very strong but nice. The Bonbon coffee is delightful but be careful they serve it cold but you can ask for warm one.
Ordered waffles, sadly they were really undercooked, ended up throwing half of the meal. Coffee and atmosphere was good, so I imagine it was just a once off. It's a shame I was just passing through and can't try them again.
