The Collective is a wonderful place and the coffee and food is just amazing. When you go to a small country town you don't expect something extraordinary but hey, the Collective does just that. Magnificent coffee and a warm atmosphere give it charm, the food gives it something to remember.Friendly staff and the guys work hard to make this place special. Situated in an old bank on Trentham's Main Street, the Collective has respect for Trentham's past and embraced the here and now. Check out the stunning indigenous mural at the side of the cafe and feel the spirit of the Dja Dja Wurrung people. Don't miss the Trentham Collective....
Excellent food. We had the mushroom burger and gnooci with pumpkin puree. Great service. Best turmeric latte I've had yet!
Great local good quality food at this Trentham eatery. Everything is fresh prepared in the kitchen including an amazing array of super delicious not so healthy cakes. Yum. The coffee is also right up to expectations.
Cooking is a form of FINE art. People should NOT have to own a restaurant to understand how much effort everyone puts in when they cook a decent meal. The thought your own recipe, Time, Love etc are priceless. The sensational home-cooked dishes with fresh, organic locally produced ingredients from this cozy café worth every penny of mine and worth of the lovely drive. Lovely, Helpful staff members is a plus and it is something I have missed when I went to the city. So nice to see smiles and feel welcoming.
Great coffee and delicious baked goods. Stopped in for coffee and cake on a road trip and will certainly go there again. Even had gluten free baked goods!
The food was alright and it's a nice place athletically and in terms of atmosphere, but our food took sooo long to arrive! It was literally almost an hour! So the service wasn't great.
Really tasty food, friendly service and great prices. One of our five meals was 10 min late but they were really apologetic. Beware of the paywave surcharge.
A little bit pricey- $8 for a small tomato and fetta tart about 4cms wide by 8cms long. Even with quality local ingredients this is a $5-6 dollar offering only.
Can't wait to go back to Trentham for another beautiful lunch at this delightful cafe. I thought the prices were very reasonable for such quality ingredients presented with care.
Tasty meal and good coffee but well overpriced considering meal was on specials list and flat white coffee cup was size of shot of espresso.
