Located at Unit 6, Old Creamery Lane, Berry, New South Wales, Australia .nA great little cafe with delicious food simple food, I had a hot dog and hot chips which was lovely. No complaints on my end. Along with the confectionery shop which is connected full of a large variety of chocolates, lollies, sauces, jams and many other wonderful items. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever down in Berry. Thumbs Up!!
What a store. So much to choose from. Chocolates , candies , teas , sauces , nuts , herbs and more. A must see when in Berry on the NSW south coast.
Despite its modest size and the absence of a chocolate workshop on weekends, The Treat Factory pleasantly surprised us with its delightful offerings. My son adored the turtle chocolate, while my daughter couldn't get enough of the butterfly chocolate. The ice cream was also a hit, bursting with flavor. Plus, we couldn't resist taking home a jar of their delicious strawberry jam—it's quite yum! Though not the expansive factory we anticipated, it's a charming spot for tasty treats.
Service was ordinary and certainly without a smile; it seemed that even though there was nobody else in the shop, the lady server was in a hurry to get us out of there.nWe discretely and politely pointed out there were three flies inside the fudge cabinet the fudge the flies were landing on were unpackaged. Despite our kind and discrete manner, the lady serving was quite cool and dismissive in her attitude about it. Only when we pointed out the flies again did she try and shoo them out, and displayed no gratitude or apologetic demeanour and remained very cool natured in her approach We even bought some of the fudge, and no comment/thanks/joke of any kind.nnThe shop is well presented, and no other hygiene concerns. Just providing some feedback that some better customer service was required and perhaps need to be more attentive to presence of flies around unpackaged food
This place is a hidden gem.nBetter than Wonka Land!nA lot of Lollies from days gone by and many new and unusual ones I have never seen before.nAlso unusual jams and many different products to buy....but we were there for the Lollies of course!!
