I like the energy but the stuff they sell has a huge markup because if you were to go anywhere in Asia you could find the same stuff for nothing... The staff are nice but it's a bit uncomfortable when looking for things and deciding and the staff are watching you, makes me feel uncomfortable. Overall nice stuff and nice energy. Will be back to window shop probably :
Love my copper bracelets I got from the store in Wellington. The wonderful young lady I dealt with was fantastic. They match perfectly with my rose gold watch.
I love this store, one of my favs on K Road. Customer experience always nice, makes me want to go back every time. Beautiful rings and earrings, great range of inciense and hemp bags.
Extremely overpriced & i felt like i was being closely followed around the store by the staff, wasnt going to steal but i decided i definitely wasnt going to buy anything either after them following me around
Me & my partner went to this store because we were genuinely going to buy some things. Us being people of colour obviously wasn’t a good look to the workers as they were following us around & just watching us like we were going to steal. It made us feel very uncomfortable that we just left. Wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re a person of colour.
The Third Eye is the best place to acquire Asian clothes, metalwork, gemstones, rag rugs and everything else you'd expect in a first quality sustainability store in New Zealand. The manager is an exemplary respector of labour; everything here is not exploitative of young people. All goods are handmade by adult workers. I've been coming to this wonderful store for years. Sited in one of K Road's best locations this is a store which offers great value and great products. For instance, the selection of incense here is the most extensive and the best in New Zealand. The metal work is astonishing. Totally recommended!!
I ordered a pair of pants, top and a anklet from here a few weeks back online and I am very pleased with my order! Gorgeous quality clothing, not to mention the free incense packet they gifted to me with my order. I am very appreciative of that so thank you! Fast shipping and overall great experience. Will be purchasing again from here very soon.
Don’t buy their nose rings, even after cleaning them my nose piercings became infected after having no problems with them for years
The manager wasn’t personally outright rude to me but she was rushing these 12-13 year old girls who wanted to get some rings, she was saying they were making a mess/taking too long but she had only just taken them out for them to see, and they had no mess in front of them whatsoever. The staff seem friendly but I feel like they have been trained to follow customers around, I felt like I was a thief, always having an eye on me. The staff were friendly and were helpful when I asked but the manager was rude to my friend, whom I went there with. The crystals are overpriced as well. Overall, shopper beware and be cautious.
