The Swedish Church - a Scandinavian meeting place
The Swedish Church is located at Toorak House in the
Melbourne suburb of Toorak. The beautiful old house is
surrounded by leafy garden and a swimming pool.
As well as finding Church services here, this is also
a meeting place for children and parents, students,
young adults, back packers and many others. Toorak
House is the natural Scandinavian centre for all the
highs and lows in life like christenings, weddings and
funerals and everything in between. Being a church and
a congregation is something we all do together so the
personal involvement of each individual is important for
the future of Toorak House.
Are you longing to express your faith? Prayer, worship,
meditation and Sunday services are the core and main
stay in a Christian life. We celebrate services regularly
(see our website for dates and times) to inspire us all to
live with each other in love and acceptance.
The coffee shop is open when the church is
open. Here you find Swedish scrolls and other
cakes, food items, lollies and gifts.
