The Summit is an outdoor adventure park with a primary focus on providing inspiring and life changing experiences through a combination of meaningful programs and powerful activities that build self-worth, character, success and happiness.

Story

Ryan and Melissa Doughty purchased the rundown venue back in July 2009 and have spent an incredible amount of effort, time and money in rebuilding, renovating and re-branding the facility. We employ approximately 35 staff in both full time and casual positions who are the backbone of our business.

The camp staff are excellent at connecting with the kids. They teach them about goal setting and they encourage them to steo outside their comfort zone. Thank you for an exciting experience.

A very great place that brings people together and improves your teamwork as a team as it creates a stronger bond with obstacle courses that take a team to win. Thanks Steph and the other girl (the one with the short long hair that helped with the summit window and abseiling).

We really enjoyed at the summit with approximately 200 people. Great fun having lots of outdoor activity's like kayaking, flying fox, hanging bridge, sporting facilities, large hall room with kitchen would fit more than 200 people. It was a nice adventurous holiday for us.

Went to this camp in year 12 and was served mouldy food. Had instructors who were more immature than my classmates. Were basically forced to do activities unless you wanted them to make you feel bad for not doing them. Students were forced to wash dishes quickly and thus poorly because the instructors did not want to wait. This led to a jelly bean being left in my bowl, obviously put through the wash, from the day before. They blackmailed us to re-do parts of the "monster challenge" because students refused to crawl through mud, when they could easily just scuttle through it. And to top it all off; they did not follow the safety procedures when dealing with the skybridge (the bridge over the lake). They did this by first letting only one student on at a time (as per procedure); but as soon as a student was struggling they got impatient and sent another student after them. The first student got very disorientated and froze in fear on the bridge, blocking off the second student. The instructor couldn't aid them because the maximum capacity is two on the bridge and another student was already on it. Overall, my time at this camp was short, shocking and painful. I do hope that since my time there it has improved and the instructors (specifically "A.J") have been replaced with more competent staff.

Extremely well set out area. Did the summit survivor race. Heaps of fun. You get stitched up on parking though
