My experience after arriving in the accomodation has been poor on the account of impolite reception staff. I find them even the old looking people to behave immaturely or as if students stay here for free, or perhaps they just missed something growing up about basic human interactions let alone customer service. I am writing this post as a help, as I’d like you to improve your I am sure, well meaning standards so you don’t loose the business which you need to continue providing the service to bright generations of future students.
I have stayed at University Square for 3 years now. Its been my first home ever since I came to Melbourne as an international student. The best part about the place is that you always get to meet fellow students in the building - either while passing by or at some exciting events. This was something I needed during 2020 when social interactions itself had come to a halt. With student roles such as Residential Assistants paid and Student Ambassadors unpaid initially, there are plenty of opportunities to develop your employability skills. Highly recommended to all students!

A great option for student accommodation. It's very organised, neat and nicely furnished with thoughtful amenities and services. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend the student housing company for your accommodation needs.
University Square is one of a kind, it is rare to see such great accommodation available to students within walking distance to university. In my experience, the staff have been incredibly helpful and patient. I felt welcome during my stay and felt that I could ask anything without judgement. The reception's music also goes together well with the living space. I cannot recommend it enough!! I may go so far to say that University Square has contributed greatly to not only my education but my overall mental health and lifestyle with weekly activities such as taco night and more. I have to mention that there is only one toilet on the first floor which can be an inconvenience. However, there are more toilets readily available on the third floor.
Love the atmosphere and the fact that the staff is so so lovely and friendly ! It is so near to the university,. Love the lobby, study space and play area. The movies and activities arranged are so much fun !! All stars for the apartments as well!!!
A 2 years old development near Melbourne's number 1 univeristy. Wide common dinning room with lots of ovens to be used. Induction pads are used instead of gas stoves to ensure a safe stay for all tenants. 2 buildings of accommodations available, capable of holding age groups between 18 years or older. Single room prices starting from $479 AUD a week. Has many great facilities for use as well. Single rooms has options for a sky terrace to embrace the skyline of Melbourne Univeristy. Rooms are really clean and tidy and ready to move in. Good place to rent for overseas students attending Melbourne University.
Excellent location , friendly staff , the 3 bedroom has a great layout and is very spacious , highly recommended
Good communication with staff, quick responses, good amenities and plenty of residents events
Great place to live with lots of interesting events for students.
