The Station

Great place to stay, very affordable, in the heart of Auckland. Was a perfect location for our whanau function we had on. Would stay here again if I needed to.

Great location, average rooms some bigger, lighter and quieter than others, old infrastructure but enough to guarantee some comfort. Staff is 24h available. Drinking inside is allowed.

Very tidy inexpensive accommodation right down in Akl CBD. Walk to eateries, bars etc. Twin or double-bed rooms with bathroom, toiletries, tea coffee facilities and fridge $63 per night in Nov 2020. Happy, congenial reception staff. Exceptional value for such a location.

To say this building has a cockroach problem is an understatement. During my one night stay my room was visited by three large cockroaches. Cleanliness is also an issue, with various stations and chunks of wallpaper missing from the walls

The room looks nothing like the photos - its outdated and worn. There was someone else's half used soap in our private bathroom and the springs are you can feel in the bed

Cheap. Get what you pay for. Stayed there because it was cheap but it was hot and very loud with the train and street during summer. I'd stay again if the price was as low as January prices. The place is prob 5-10 years overdue renovation
