Whether you’re visiting for dining, entertainment, or simply to experience the atmosphere, The Star Sydney is definitely worth a visit for a memorable night out.”
I visited The Star Sydney for the first time in about three years with my wife. My wife was allowed to enter without any issue, but I was asked to complete paperwork containing personal questions about my occupation, income, financial situation and assets.nnAfter completing the paperwork, I was told that I could not enter that day and that I would have to wait approximately two weeks for the outcome of their review.nnI understand that casinos have compliance and identification requirements, and I have no issue with reasonable checks. However, I was disappointed that I was not given a clear explanation as to why I was being subjected to this additional review, particularly when my wife, who was with me, had no issue entering.nnThe whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. After being a customer in the past, I did not expect to be treated this way without a proper explanation.nnUnfortunately, based on this experience, I have no intention of returning to The Star Sydney.nni had been a regular customer at The Star Sydney for more than 10 years and previously held a Silver membership card.nnAfter not visiting for about three years, I recently returned with my wife. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome and with no clear understanding of why I was treated differently.nnUnfortunately, after this experience, anyway I throwed my silver card away, and I have no intention of returning to The Star Sydney.
Very nice entertainment complex. We stayed in the different hotels as well and liked the facilities of the different hotel. The swimming pool is nice and heated. The view from the star room is also quite nice. Easy walk to Darling Harbour. The parking rate is considerably good for weekdays and weekends.
Perfect for any occasion!nA casual meal, dress up meal, play a machine or a table, nightclubbing, entertainment centre, public transport access, darling harbour access and views, a few drinks, relaxing vibe or on the go vibe.nStaff are amazing! So friendly and lovely!!nThe rooms are comfy, the linen is fresh and clean, the bathrooms are always well stocked with good quality items.nColes is across the road for anything else you need.nThe only things I'd say is check in is 3pm, check out is 11am. Thats not even 24hrs with the room, though that is pretty standard.nDefinitely recommend!n
