Appalling standard of accommodation. The worst beds and sheets I've ever experienced. Not to mention the racist facial ID system the casino uses to falsely accuse guests of not paying for food even though they weren't in the building. Zero apologies or accountability from the casino. Do not stay here.
It’s a gorgeous casino which is a shame because it seems like very few people are interested in being here.nnWe visited on a Friday night and there were heaps of empty tables and no “vibe” at all.nnFor those visiting, Australia has some strict gaming rules so every single person needs to sign up for a loyalty card before gambling at all. This process took about 15 minutes.nnOtherwise, as mentioned, everything looks brand new. Splendid viewing experience with some great restaurants.
This is really a nice casino.nThe food and drinks reasonably priced.nThe food was excellent.nThe only negative is the slot games sounds are quiet.nI like to crank my volume up, especially when I hit a bonus game.
I had an incredibly upsetting experience at Start City on 02/11/2024. I was sitting quietly when a security guard approached and asked me to leave. I had no issue with that and immediately began heading out. However, as I was walking out, another security guard stopped me and asked how many drinks I had consumed. I politely told him I didn’t want to answer and that I was just leaving.nnWithout any provocation, this security guard became aggressive and physically assaulted me by pushing me. I was already on my way out and not causing any trouble, yet he took it upon himself to escalate the situation.nnI strongly suggest management review the security footage from that night—it will clearly show that I was not being disruptive, and I was simply leaving when I was assaulted. This kind of behavior from your staff is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.
The staff from the valet parking team, the checkin, and the Harvest welcome team. you are the most friendly and helpful team in any hotels we have been to around the world. the staff is on par with the Sands resort in Singapore. thank you to the amazing team. you made our short stay great. Our room is comfortable and a good size for a couple.
