What a wonderful asset to brisbane! The accommodation was outstanding! The service was even better. We stayed in a king river view room after my husband had surgery. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the food was all fresh and tasty!! I can't forget to mention the devine aroma that circulated around the whole complex! We want to give a shout out to Christina manager of hotel breakfast, her kindness was exceptional and she went above and beyond to make this experience relaxing post my husbands surgery. Thankyou Christina you were wonderful. Also I can't forget to thank Hayley from the concierge team..you were so sweet and kind by helping me to my room a service that was not an expectation within your job role, as I purchased outside goods post surgery for my Husband. Last but not least a big thankyou to Jess a service agent in the lobby you also showed outstanding treatment and your politeness didn't go unnoticed. What a wonderful stay. We enjoyed our time under nerve wrecking circumstances, the environment and location also the staff made this stay absolutely enjoyable. We have already re booked for River fire and we can't wait!!
The star Brisbane is the resort to stay when visiting Brisbane from its location to the rooms you cannot get anything better. Its lobby is beautiful and comes with its own cafe/bar where you can just chill and have a drink. It’s pool area is also next to none with 3 pool with ample seating and its own pool bar and a small but functional gym and top of that a free use green area. There is also the sky deck providing a beautiful view of Brisbane and has 3 restaurants/bars up there. Further to those there is a whole level dedicated to 4 restaurants all of which are top quality. The rooms are fantastic, well maintained and tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and the bathrooms cannot be compared with any other hotel they are amazing. Above all the service at the Star Brisbane makes it an excellent choice to stay whenever visiting Brisbane and well worth the asking price, when taking everything into account.
We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at the Star Grand Brisbane recently. From the moment we arrived till our time of departure we were treated like royalty. The young man looking after our luggage, the ladies at the check in, the restaurants, casino, everywhere we went we were greeted by impeccably dressed couldn’t do enough for you.nThe room was gorgeous, we were upgraded and returned to our room to find a bottle of champaign on ice with a handwritten note for our anniversary. This truly was greatly appreciated.nThank you does not seem enough. Special thanks to housekeeping, they do a fantastic unseen and sometimes unappreciated role but are the pinnacle in the chain of a special occasion.
First visit to the Casino, made a special effort to go. Got to the sports bar and all our drinks were served in plastic cups, asked the bar staff can we have proper glasses. He said unfortunately not. What the hell having to drink at of a plastic cup like your at McDonald’s instead of what is supposed to be a fancy Casino very UNAUSTRALIAN please be better. Also what about the environment with all that plastic!!
We stayed for one night to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel has a luxurious, high-end feel from the moment you arrive. The views over South Bank were stunning, especially at night, and being able to explore The Star Casino, the restaurants, and the surrounding precinct made it a perfect getaway. Everything felt modern and elegant, making it an ideal place for a special occasion. We’d definitely stay again.
