I recently had a much enjoyed girls luncheon at this place & I was so surprised at how wonderful the food was . I love to cook Indian food & I know my Indian pretty well & I always feel let down when going for a curry but honestly go and try this new place In Altona. You will be pleasantly surprised at there modern menu .. just let them feed you ! & make sure you try a variety of things like Lamb chops & Paneer which was my most favourite . The staff are also wonderful & very friendly ..we can’t wait to go back . Very well done !

I love spicy food. Ordered chicken vindaloo curry it was extremely spicy to be frank it was like eating red chilli. They offered us papad is . Chicken tikka was average. Very near to Altona railway station and also Altona beach. Might be the day I visited was the right one since POS was not working and they requested for cash which I hardly carry with me. Later they have bank details and transferred online. This place also have party hall.

I can't believe I didn't visit this place sooner! The food is amazing, the staff lovely and very helpful. We will be definitely coming back for more! We had butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, some dumplings, tandoori chicken and fried paneer. Soooo good!!!!!

Recently under new management, this place is serving some amazing and  authentic Indian food.  We could not resist but choose many starters and mains to taste.  For the vegetarians : you must try the Onion Zucchini fritters. These were so crispy and perfect to have with mint chutney.  For the non-veg option : the Chicken Malai seekh kebab were so good. Served smoking hot and so juicy with house made spice blend. . For mains we had: • Chef’s special Chicken TSY • Lamb rogan Josh • Paneer butter masalaveg • plain and garlic Naan • stuffed Keema naan  Being more critical about Indian food - we can definitely say @thespiceyard_altona  serves amazingly authentic Indian food.

Cozy friendly restaurant near my house, we go very often to try different food. The crew is very kind, give nice recommendations and have a nice conversation. I'm specially into their desserts, like the paan kulfi and carrot halwi flavours :Food: 5/5

I ordered goat briyani for takeaway and it was delicious. A very good portion and reasonable pricing. Would order again!

This place should close down and it appears that there are clowns running the business that have no clue about serviceability. Ordered three dishes and was advised by staff that delivery would be half an hour. Got the food 2 hours late and was not hot. Advised by staff that the driver could not find the address and they tried to cover their tracks by saying the driver tried to call which was not accurate. We had ordered medium spicy food and in fact the food was mild. The food was floating in oil. Food inspectors should be called upon to inspect the place to ensure that the food they serve is serviceable.
