Join any of our fantastic dance classes including Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Salsa, Le Bop and many more, take a short course or hire one of our studios and expand your horizons. We offer casual dance classes in Melbourne for kids and adults of various dance abilities and interest levels. With a Taste of Dance short course, you can try new and different dance styles and find your own personal favourite. Choose among a wide range of dance classes and perform dance moves you never thought you could.

I’ve been attending this dance studio for many years and it has pushed me to be my best and helped me move up in my dance world, it hadalways been a place I genuinely loved, which is why this experience was so upsetting and disappointing.nnOne staff member, who has been at the studio for a long time and appears to have a very close personal connection to the ownership, was consistently rude towards me. During one interaction, they physically pushed past me without apologising. This left me feeling uncomfortable and unsettled, especially as another staff member checked on me afterwards, which made it clear the situation had been noticeable.nnI didn’t feel able to raise this concern at the time, as it felt likely that my feelings would be minimised or that I would be made to feel as though I was overreacting, rather than being taken seriously. That lack of confidence in speaking up made the situation even more difficult.nnUnfortunately, because of this experience, I won’t be returning to the studio. While it wasn’t traumatic, it was unsettling enough to change how safe and welcome I felt in a place that used to mean a lot to me. I hope this feedback is considered seriously so others don’t feel the same way.

I've been going to The Space consistently for 3 months and every single class and teacher has been consistently top quality. Seriously amazing dance school which caters for genuinely all levels. Pancho's latin commercial classes are out of this world 10/10

I love this place! Having a welcoming space to try new hobbies or cultivate skills like you’re able to at The Space is amazing.nnMassive shoutout to Eli whose classes are second to none. He’s absolutely lovely, has great taste in music, and his teaching style is very relaxed and patient while also being incredibly informative. He’s really great at communicating and breaking down the moves, which actually makes me feel semi-competent even as a complete beginner. I seriously cannot recommend him or his classes enough. Definitely give them a try!

Absolutely love this dance studio! The staff is incredibly friendly, always welcoming, and ready to help with anything you need. The variety of classes is insane—there’s something for everyone, from beginners to advanced dancers, and every style you can think of! The teachers are beyond amazing—knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to helping students grow.nnHighly recommend!

Studios are lovely - lots of space. The girl on the desk is actually one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. Seemed she was having a bad day and wanted to bring happy people down to her level. Very big shame I would not return or recommend because of her.
