Story

A vibrant eating place located very close to Hobart City Centre.

We offer warm, nourishing soups, a range of traditional and contemporary Indian food, and some of the best hot and cold drinks in town.

The soup menu is truly impressive. All are hearty soups which fill the spot. They are full of natural ingredients and provide a great healthy option for any meal throughout the day.

We are also known for our tapas-style Street Food of India menu, a selection of lip-smacking roadside dishes from all corners of the subcontinent. We are excited to be the first and only place in Hobart to offer this lively genre of Indian Cuisine.

The best vegetarian restaurant in Hobart. Amazing quality, chef super accommodating to dietary restrictions and very friendly. Nice big quantities and very cheap.
Clean and decent place. Good if your looking for vegeterain or vegan options. I've been going for 3 days now in a row and I still can't get enough of it. Portions are fine for the price. They have soups everyday. If you are really sick and have the urge of eating home food, then this is your place.
Orders wada and sambar, received them premixed in the box. Very poor way of serving. Lost the taste of wada. When I called the shop, owner says this is how it's served in Hobart but may not be in India. This is supposed to be an Indian restaurant. Owners trying to cut corners and save money on packing. Just lost 35 dollars and ended up with wet and soaked wada broken into pieces. Worst wada ever Good for people who has not eaten them before
The owner was very patient in explaining to us the different options on the menu. I much prefer interacting with the owner in a small shop like this compared to the experience with Indian restaurants in the big smoke.
Lovely authentic Indian veg cuisine, but be aware of the serving size differentiation when ordering dinner... The Mango Lassi with Ginger & Mint is a real treat!
This place is sensational. Amazing vegetarian foods and soups. They did a banquet for us. Great friendly service and really good prices.
Excellent quality food. I was very impressed by how authentic all the different dishes were made, they were fresh and warm and tasted great. Prices to rival pretty much everything here in Hobart. Totally recommended.
The food is great. What makes this place better is the warm reception from the staff. Extremely sweet and accommodating to all needs. As a South Indian, I can assure that their South Indian food is excellently tempered and cooked to perfection. This place is a haven for people craving Indian food and is a must go, if in Hobart.
Absolutely amazing food. Not one of those namesake Indian restaurants who call themselves "authentic", but are just bowls of orange gravy with oil dripping out. This one is not just great in taste, but was top notch in its quality and quantity. We were treated by food which was served not for customers but how you'd prepare food for your guests who you value. Aunty is an amazing cook. If my mum made food it would have been this. Leaving Hobart with fond memories and I am so glad I had my last dinner in Hobart here.
We tried many Indian restaurants before coming here and then never tried any other, in Hobart and being Indians we felt this as the home like authentic Indian food!! parathas and soups were awesome and a must try! Cheers to the family for serving food straight from the heart bringing us closer to home!
