We had an enjoyable lunch stop here. The place was busy but we were quickly seated outside. We had the meat platter and this was decent value for money. The little bread rolls are great. Hot, soft and fluffy with a knob of butter to melt in them. We gave in to temptation and ordered more. We bought a selection of donuts as we left, for later. These hit the spot nicely, with the Canadian maple bacon being especially delicious.

Good times. We ordered a full rack of pork ribs and would gladly do so again. We have also gotten donuts from here before and on all occasions have been delighted. The ribs are nice and authentic, the donuts are lovely and we look forward to trying something new each time we are in Motueka.

The girls who served me were super lovely, friendly and accommodating. The coffee was awesome and the nachos were super nice and it was a huge portion. Would def go back here again if I’m in the area. Thanks so much!

Treat  time Lots of publicity  about how good the food is. Yes it lived up to expectations. Much more choice than expected . Service was great. Very busy on Friday  at 11 pm. Parking close and easy to find on the north end of High street. Just after the new lights in Motueka. Monkey puzzle tree right next door. Donuts are fantastic.

Popped in for some donuts but they were all sold out! We'll have to up our game and get there early tomorrow. Honestly they're that good!! The Smoking Barrel is a fantastic spot on Motueka's main street, with a great menu and delicious coffee. It's always a good vibe, and when we're passing through Mot, we make sure we stop in.Food: 5/5

We stopped here while passing through and it was well worth the stop! We got the brisket burgers, fries and a donut. Highly recommend! We also stopped in again for round 2 on our way back through. We had the brunch menu both times, keen to give the dinner menu a go in futureFood: 5/5

Amazing place for breakfast! The food it was really nice and yummy  and all the stuff was very helpful. Very nice experience !! Definitely we will be back. 100% recommend it.

We got the Brisket burgers with a large portion of fries to share. The fries were huge and we couldn’t even finish them. The brisket burgers were divine; very rich decadent brioche buns with succulent brisket, melted cheese and tasty pickles helping cut through the fat. Couldn’t eat it every day but as a treat, you won’t regret it!

Amazing donuts! The savior cheese burger donuts was tasty. Would definitely go again. They also have an awesome dinner menu. Loved the BBQ platter

Have had the donuts on 3 separate occasions... the thing that keeps you returning is the clever changing up of the variety types that are available at any one time...so next week there will be a different flavour to come back to try. The donuts are pretty good  but they aren't cheap.
