The Smoke Pit serves up one of the best food in the area! From succulent and spine tingling sides such as corn on the cob, slaw, potato salad, bean and mac n cheese right through to mouth watering barbecue favourites smoked to perfection such as pulled pork, ribs, wings, burnt ends and beef brisket, the Smoke Pit has got it on the menu and served perfectly on a plate!
Everything was really delicious and the servings were a generous size. We had several beef, chicken and the pork dishes as well as the apple and pecan pies. The pecan pie was actually the nicest I have ever had. Would definitely eat here again.
Atmosphere was fantastic, looks very unique and has a great vibe. Front of house staff was lovely!nPork burnt ends, cheesy jalapeño sausages, mocktail and chips were fantastic!nEverything else was pretty dry, just tasted reheated and our beer was super flat. We might come back to give the burgers a try, but other than that, I think this is a one and done for us.
Went last night on a date, had an amazing night, staff were very friendly and inviting. There was an amazing server named Brett helped us with the menu, recommending the platter for two, which was perfect for us.nBest platter I've had in my life, and the pies there were to die for. I'll definetly be taking a slice home with me every time!nDefinetly will be back :
The restaurant is warm, rustic, and full of character—authentic down to the last detail. It felt like stepping into a true Southern smokehouse. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and attentive. The food was incredible, every mouthful was a like a flavour bomb going off in your mouth! The pork ribs were especially to die for! Highly recommend this place!
