Very happy to find this little gem in Thomastown. Fantastic meats from the grill all are very reasonable prices and a very good US smokehouse vibe too.nnReally loved the brisket and sausage in my Big meal for 1 which easily feeds two people, will definitely come back to try their pork belly and beef ribs which I have heard good things about as well.

I had an amazing lunch here this afternoon.nnI ordered the 200g brisket, there were plenty of gluten free options, the staff were also very knowledgeable about what items were safe and what had a cross contamination risk.nnThe food was fairly quick to come out, good temperature and a decent sized serve.nnThe staff were super friendly and made the entire process super quick and easy, even when traffic picked up and they got quite busy for a lunch rush, they remained friendly professional and efficient.nnThe toilet facilities were extremely clean and had an adorable design to the basin and mirror space.nnThe entire venue was also extremely quirky and fun to observe, notably their pig that welcomes you at the service counter. The Christmas decorations were also super cute.nnWe ordered another brisket serve to go, and it was again quick service despite the huge lunch rush that had occurred since we originally ordered.nnOur iced coffees were also super yum and a really nice size too!nnDefinitely a spot to check out if you have a gluten allergy or coeliac as there is definitely menu options you can make work.

A good variety of menu choices and portions were very generous. Waiting staff were friendly and helpful.nThe share platter was tasty, although there wasn’t much flavour in the beef ribs and they seemed a little dry. On the other hand, the pork spareribs were succulent and more of a hit. I wouldn’t recommend the mocktail at $10 which was definitely overpriced for what you get.nOverall, it was a pleasant dining experience with family.

Really enjoyed the food here, I came with a partner and we shared the meat platter for 2, which left us more than full. Great portioning for the price you pay, definitely recommend. Service was friendly and welcoming and atmosphere felt traditional to the state of Texas. The food was definitely the highlight and made the experience worth it.

Yeeehaw this is an awesome BBQ restaurant, the platter for two is deceivingly large. Got the pork ribs which ended being too much but we have lunch for tomorrow. The beef brisket was so tender, the pulled lamb was out of the world, the only criticism here is the pork ribs weren't as tender as we like but was still an 8/10. You do need to pay for food separately to the drinks which is a little annoying but didnt really bother us. Venue is clean, tables well placed, so much room for everyone and private section. Place was packed and worth it. Highly recommend but come hungry.
