This shop has not been open for some time and no notice has been posted, which has led to numerous closed doors. When they opened for the first time, I found out that they were charging for free winter melon tea. I hope that after the epidemic is over, we can continue to have their meals. The set meal deal is really good value for working people and the taste is very good
The most authentic Taiwanese food you can get in Sydney! They have Taiwanese dishes that are hard to find anywhere else. As a Taiwanese myself I can vouch for this. Top recommended dishes would be their beef noodle soup, large intestine noodles, and braised pork rice. The taro biscuit was also a highlight, everyone needs to try this. Incredibly crunchy and super soft and fluffy on the inside.
I love their fried chicken : da best! Also other dishes we ordered were pretty nice : could almost taste the emotions in them.
My first meal of the day at 2 pm, starving, and I'm still disappointed. Ordered the $19 stewed beef plank stripes with noodles and it was a tiny portion for the price and the noodles was hard I liked al dente noodles but this one is undercooked. Beef noodle soup is ok but not close to the familiar Taiwanese flavour. Fried chicken is ok.
Reasonably priced Taiwanese street food, served in small quantities to allow variety... I came here in a small group and was able to sample a good portion of the menu. We liked the fried pork chop/chicken that had a lot of flavour and was well-seasoned.
A soup is a must-order at this place. They serve up Cantonese style ‘duntang’ ie. soups that have been double boiled for a long time, amongst other soups. The pork belly and tofu were also very tasty.
A new alleyway restaurant that serves Authentic traditional Taiwanese tapas . All dishes are reasonably priced, most are around $6 each. You can also get $15 Bowl dishes which are quite substantial in size. A good dining atmosphere but with limited seating and minimum table services.
I went here many times. Good service and food cone out so quick. If you want to try authentic Taiwanese food, this is one of the best restaurants in Sydney. They have variety choices, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, you can see most of Taiwanese street foods on their menu.
Three and half stars if there that option. Themed retro Taiwanese eatery look and feel, with random decoration from 60s to 80s. Food is somewhat ordinary the day we went, maybe the chef was on leave. I had better food from there before.
I really wanted to like this place. Ordered the vermicelli soup and braised platter. The service was quick & friendly. The food however...was mediocre at best. I think it's decent among the very few Taiwanese restaurants in Sydney but if you've ever tried the real deal in Taiwan you know that their food doesn't come anywhere near it.
