Been coming here for years and food has usually been good. I have ordered the American Cheese burger a few times and it’s always been great. Something has changed, the beef patty tasted like one of those frozen processed ones that have no flavour. It was also over cooked to the point it was black and super dry. My wife ordered the mussels and they were fantastic. Duck spring rolls were also a let down, very bland and boring.
Have been here multiple times and always enjoyed the atmosphere and selection of beer and the extensive menu. However whilst eating the salad that came with the chicken schnitzel today I found a dead bug. I let the staff know but no recovery was made. The salad was taken from me to let the kitchen know and that was that. Definitely put off, hopefully salad gets washed.
10/10!! We are not from around here, second time we’ve been here before on our travels and is still our favourite place on the Sunshine Coast. Got the pulled pork belly burger and my mind was blown, best burger I’ve ever had!! My partner was highly satisfied by his pizza! Service from the waiters was so lovely and they were incredibly friendly, lovely clean tables too! Highly recommend to anyone wanting lunch or dinner.
Food was lovely but that's about all we found nice there. Very few staff rostered, had to find our own table that we had booked. There were no chairs, the table was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. The table beside us took a half an hour for staff to clean once the other customers left. You almost had to shout to each other it was so loud. The sports bar was closed despite the sports area overflowing with patrons. Honestly very disappointed and cannot understand why it was so busy. I hope we were a once off and they were just having a bad night. Wouldn't bother going there in the future.
Favourite venue on the Wharf by far! They have fantastic food a lovely view on the deck indoor and outdoor dining options and icy cold James Squire on Tap Yummo. But best of all it's a dog friendly venue with a great atmosphere great place to mingle with locals and a nice place to have a romantic lunch or dinner.
