I remember i was working but boss had to let me go as im honest i hurt my back at home not at work and it was not going to be a fast recovery so centrelink told me i needed a agency i thought salvation army in rowville because salvation army is known for helping people worst mistake of my life i was constantly questioned and quizzed on my health problems had letters from doctors where they told me i was lying every time i went in to look for work they would watch me from behind would openly make rude comments about me while i was in the room my confidence disappeared thank god my back pain went ive allways worked and for this short period of 4 months it was hard even to get out of bed some days so i was depresed from that and to be treated like the way they treated me was disgraceful after the 4 months ive worked 6 days a week on my day off id be more than happy to stand out the front of the office with a sign warning people about some of the practices that goes on in side i say its criminal and i truely feel sorry for anyone who has no work and finds themselves in there hands i remember they sent me for a job interview didnt tell me what i was going for i asked them why was i going here they didnt answer so i thought ok ill go see whats going on and when i got there the job was for heavy lifting the boss asked am i ok with lifting what could i say i told him the truth then when i came back i was screamed at this mob very unprofessional STAY AWAY

Had the misfortune to be sent to this place twice.  Once 3 years ago and now.  They have not helped or assisted me in any way to find a job.  They contacted me to come in and didn't even know what they wanted to see me about.  I had to produce the letter from them as they had no clue.  Unless you are a real loser or a drug addict don't expect to get any meaningful assistance from this mob.  What a waste of government money.  Just window dressing so governments can pretend there doing something to help you.  Laurie.

They have a penchant for taking off early and closing around 4pm. What are they up to? Who can say. Perhaps off to play some croquet? What a life!
