I went in mid-morning for a late breakfast -coffee with pancakes. Whilst the cafe was half-full the coffee did take a little while to arrive. Good strength and nice temperature to the latte, however the foam or froth reminded me of a mid-1980's cappuccino. Pancakes were simple with a good size to them serving of 2, with just maple syrup and then ice cream on the side. Not bad, however definitely not the most welcoming atmosphere either.
Had a hamburger with the lot. Good old fashioned food with great service. Came out in a timely fashion. The only negative was my dining partners meat was slightly undercooked. Coffee was excellent. Will be back.
My experience was appalling, however, as it was Boxing Day, perhaps not the norm for this café. I waited 45 minutes for a simple burger that came with a side of fries. The burger was average, but the fries were malodorous and inedible, perhaps been cooked in rancid oil. I recommend avoiding this café.
Wonderful cafe. Lovely service ! We tried the omelette and the hot chocolate. The omelette was very good and with good fillings. I think they would have used at least 3eggs on one. Great work guys!
Disgraceful, shameless customer service in addition to embarrassing food preparation. Ordered simple food choices of two sandwiches and 2 burgers for a party of 4. After 45 minutes of waiting we asked about when we should expect our order, met with an aggressive snap-response of "soon." After another 10 minute waiting period, and watching customers that had ordered long after us being served before us, we asked again and were told food would take 5 more minutes. The sandwiches were brought first and were immediately disappointing; non-fresh to the point of being arguably stale bread used, with pre-sliced, soggy chilled vegetables layered over an overbearing amount of mayonnaise. The avocado sandwich would be better described as 'avocado flavoured mayonnaise sandwich', as the only visible avocado was that on the kiosk display on the other side of the building. One of our party wanted to take the vegetable sandwich back due to this low quality and general stale atmosphere left by the current "customer service" experienced. After politely explaining that the food was no longer wanted, the claimed owner and manager responded with "For f**ks sake. There's nothing wrong with it, you're only bringing it back because of the wait" in a vile, aggressive tone. After being treated so abhorrently we naturally just wanted to leave, at this point though the burgers had just been brought to us. The bun was burnt on the underside and it was clear that the vegetables included were, again, pre-sliced and soggy. In addition the meat was clearly under-cooked and of low quality, almost turning into a pâté just from the force of gripping the burger itself. The decorative steak knife, in place of a skewer holding the burger together, was the perfect metaphor to the process that was this "meal". Before leaving we decided to confront the owner on the poor treatment received, at the very least wanting a personal apology for inexcusably swearing at a paying customer. Though this was just met with more rudeness from the argumentative owner. We were told that we should have stated any time constraints, that there was a heavy order before ours and that was why it took over an hour to complete our order. Even going as far to say that swearing at customers is okay as the owner herself had been sworn at in her own dining experiences. There was no offer of refund, understanding or even an attempt at a sincere apology. It is an almost universal practice to inform the customer of a possible long waiting time. Without fail I have been informed of any waiting time, above 30 minutes, in every other establishment I have been to. This is basic customer service, with that knowledge we could place our order to most benefit any time restrictions and generally have a pleasant experience without concern for time. To add insult to that waiting time, it was so clear that the heavy order before our own was not a contributing factor to that embarrassment. One dish was moved from the kitchen to a customer table in the entire time of our wait, the following 5 trips were 4 runs of washed crockery being placed back behind the kiosk and a single run to put items on a plate to serve customers that ordered after us previously mentioned. Our food had a 10 minute gap between the sandwiches being served and the burgers being served. This tiny amount of prep+cooking time would explain my undercooked burger and prove that cleaning 4+ loads of crockery was a priority over cooking an obscenely late order. To be so shamelessly unprofessional in the presented attitude as a business owner is laughable. At least in the self proclaimed "30 years of customer service experience" there was one agreeable statement made during our time there - "we don't have to come again".

After reading the owners reply of someone else's review, I will come back moreso than I do now- that was awesome! LoL I love this place. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food and service is great. I have only ever been served with a smile. I love their coffee. 10 stars for the coffee. :D
Old fashioned and tasty food, simple service and coffee was awesome... not a lot of good coffee available these days, even at cafes. Will return for sure!
Traveling through and stopped for breakfast. We have to wait for a while for our breakfast. We joined two tables together as there were a few of us but was told by the old lady behind the counter that we were not allowed to do that. Very disappointed with her attitude. First and the last that we will be coming here again.
I am addicted to the chips here and I absolutely love the quiche salmon and avocado quiche is the bestand the steak sandwich is soooo good along with everything else I've tried here ahah you guys are my fave and I swear im not being biased ahahah xx
