I had very good experience with the RMH Emergency Department. My mum was admitted to the hospital for her abdominal pain and she had to stay 2 nights in the hospital. Nurses were very caring, friendly and helpful, doctors were so kind and careful. I’m very satisfied with their high quality services and should give them a 5-star !
First time in the E.R. best experience I would expect in one. Quick response, assigned a room really fast, the nurses were a delight, Jess was really positive and fun. Overall great experience, thank you to everyone there for the great and thoughtful care!
I came in to the emergency department as I hit my head alarmingly hard a day ago, came in at 2:30am why would someone come in at that time if it wasn’t bad for them, saw the triage nurse, he took my vitals and said “there’s nothing we can do for you, you don’t have to see a doctor, i’m just trying to save your money here” while he kept talking and joking with his coworker. I was furious. At least give me a head scan, you can’t see and feel what I felt on the inside. I had so many symptoms but it was just dismissed. Wasted $50 for an uber to get there and back, would never recommend this place. Too bad, the registration lady was nice.
I was surprised that the ambulance came in very fast and both paramedics were thoroughly dedicated, supportive and affirming. I was attended to and monitored the whole time until safe to be discharged. The doctor was friendly and affirming and helped me gain clarity of the situation. That’s a lot of good karma to the people who work tirelessly at RMH.nI wish they had this in Sydney, would have saved many lives.
Dr Mark Atkin and nurses Babs & Jamie and a scottish male nurse whose name i forget were incredible. They were so kind, patient and attentive. In addition the triage nurse that attended to our matter was absolutely incredible. It’s pretty rare to have such a good experience at a hospital and I honestly consider myself so lucky! They were so kind and i just wanted to say how much i appreciated it and saw every little thing they did. I wish everyone was lucky enough to have an amazing care team as i did!
