Warm & inviting new modern theatre building in the heart of Nunawading- part of Nunawading council buildings. It has a large free carpark, including undercover parking further in.nStaff were relaxed and friendly, and there were plenty of them- on the door to welcome you in, check in with tickets, assistance for seating, bar staff and even traffic control.nI was surprised by the quality of seating and staging...will definitely be back- so much cheaper and more convenient than travelling to the arts centre to see performances!!

Sound of Music - the musical by Novo Music Theatre is excellent & a thoroughly entertaining quality production currently on until 29th Mar. Attended the matinee today Sat 21/3 - absolutely loved it . The cast are very talented & the accompanying orchestra simply superb!A beloved movie which was originally a hit Broadway stage musical by the famous duo Rodgers & Hammerstein in 1959 that made its way onto screen.nnAs such, the musical stage production deviates slightly to the movie but this actually adds an alluring variation to the plot as originally written by R & H.nnMaiden foray at The Round &nwe were blown away by the spacious foyer & the theatre itself. Foyer has ample seating & tables to have your pre-performance meals/drinks. Bar menu choices are quite extensive.nnFree parking- huge area with overflow parking at adjacent reserve. Email comms prior to performance is pretty good with parking map & other relevant info. Cons?Theatre seats are poorly padded & quite low but staff are happy to provide elevated pads. We had excellent view in the 2nd last row at the top - S4 & S5.nnDefinitely looking forward to attending another show here

The Round is a great performing arts theatre with modern facilities and a comfortable atmosphere.  The venue is clean, well presented, and has good seating that makes it enjoyable to watch shows and performances. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the venue is generally easy to navigate. It can get quite busy before and after popular shows, but everything is usually well organised. Overall, it’s an excellent local venue for live performances and events.

So so grateful I was able to finally experience this venue. It's been here since 2023 from what I heard, and is a glorious addition to the Whitehouse Council.nnWe came to see My fair lady. 10/10.  The venue is warm and inviting, staff are lovely, and the bar had some great wine options and even coffee!nnCan't wait to return.

Great facility, good signage and clear parking info on the website.nThe staff were friendly and relaxed and the show we went to see felt incredibly professional. Will definitely check out more shows in future.
