The Roses Cafe

Coffee was good . Home made Pies were good but came out cold in the middle twice second time was warm enough to eat. They did give a new pie instead of just re heating. Nice place to sit and eat . Indoor/ outdoor dining

Really nice cafe on the main street, the eggs benedict was really good and the coffee was good too. The refrigerated cabinet had a good selection of pies and muffins although they didn't have a brownie . Would be 5 stars except the bathrooms are a bit run down. Overall good experience

We love this place! Great food and drinks fast service and very convenient location. Nutella muffins are my son's favourite!

What a lovely cafe.A great place to stop off if you are travelling.The staff greet you at the door.The ambience of a beautiful old building tastefully brought into today with wonderful home cooked options.I had to photograph the huge round lasagne.Totally recommend.

Very recommended. The staff are young, energetic and friendly. The food looks good and tastes great. Breakfast here proved to be a great start to the day. Will have to revisit to try their ranges of pies and pastries that looked so tempting in the window. From walking in, to leaving, this was a really pleasant experience that will have us visiting Yass again, soon. Much thanks

Had an almond chai latte which was pleasant with a nice dark color, nice level of spice. It was super sweet but I’m used to making my own real boiled chai without sugar so others may enjoy the high sweetness. The highlight for me was a butter apple muffin. I’m a home baker, so I’m fussy about baked goods. I usually avoid muffins everywhere as dry little bits of rubber… but these looked so amazing I had to try one. Imagine a layer of MOIST buttery pudding cake, with a layer of thick sliced apples, another layer of cake, more apple on top. Lovely layer of cinnamon. Absolutely divine. The young staff members were all so pleasant and helpful. I asked for half warmed and half wrapped to take. No problem. I then bought another for my husband because it was so good. And it was no problem to wrap that the way I requested too. I noticed the servers were very quick to clear tables as customers left, and were very thorough about cleaning. Restrooms were very clean too. Lovely place for a treat! Would go back anytime.

You are greeted at the door with a welcoming smile. The meals are moderately priced for the large sized portions. The coffee was good. The only down-side was the pot of tea. A tea bag in the saucer and a pot of hot water. The water also had a metallic taste to it. There's a long walk to the toilet but that is in keeping with historic building. But the staff are super efficient and friendly. Despite the tea, I'd go again.

Great food quality and portion size. Would definitely return when I pass by Yass in future.

Yum!!! So delicious and such great service!! One of our favorite places to grab a coffee and a bite to eat in Yass.

A sweet little bakery in a gorgeous little town. The food is simple but filling and the fit out is low fuss.
