The pub and restaurant at the Rose hotel is a hidden gem! Food prices are ridiculously low, the portions are huge and the service is super friendly. Locky lovely guy at the counter gave me a good description of the dishes I was interested in and the blonde girl Sage? was as helpful as she could be. Thank you so much guys! I’ll definitely be back next time when I visit Bunbury. That building looks closed but it's definitely worth stopping by and having lunch or dinner ignore the scaffolding around due to renovations. We ate roasted lamb and fisherman's basket/plate :
More gravy with meals, especiallynThe chicken schnitzel as there was nowhere near enough gravy. Annoyed I couldn't change chips & salad to mash & veggies without being charged an extra $12 still got to keep salad & chips but who could eat oll that. Other places will swap at no extra charge. Charged incorrectly but fixed the error when i went back to counter. Staff & service where very nice.nCan't comment on accomodation as we only ate there.
Had a meal before an event at BREC. I had lamb roast & it was superb. Beautiful tender meat, great veggies including beetroot & more than enough gravy & mint sauce a rare thing! Price was equally excellent.
We only ate there. Most every night. Good quality with portions that would fell an elephant. Awesome specials and never had a bad meal there. What's not to love?
Lunch is consistently on point. It’s a good bar for a sneaky beer after work. Staff are always happy and know what they are doing. My favourite pub.
