The tour was very informative and showed a lot of three historic and unknown areas of the Rocks. John was engaging and clearly enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the area and history. He was en excellent guide. We would highly recommend this tour.
This tour was a blast! Our ghost guide Phil was everything you’d look for in a ghostly tour guide. Timely stories, great pic opps, and a dry sense of humor. We enjoyed our time with Phil and all of the history surrounding the Rocks. Highly recommend to get to know the area.
There was 11 of us, we joined the group of around 27 in total, Our guide Phil, was very good, we totally enjoyed the tour. Lots of walking, Hills and steps. Helped to walk off dinner
our tour guide had a really odd accent or affectation and i found it distracting. my hot take: our guide was 100% a believer and im more of a skeptic so the spookiness of the tour i can’t really speak to. as for the history, it was great and it really made you feel like you were seeing some really special parts of the city. having been to the rocks several times, it was nice to see a different side of it, but having been on several ghost tours in my life, this one did not deliver on the spooky level.
Highlight: our guide Kyla’s nuanced storytelling, dragging up eerie tales and whispers from spirits. From the first bat sighting to a peep inside some of the old historical haunts - really appreciated the theatrical narration. Definitely recommend!
Me and my girlfriend just went on the ghost tour today and it was an amazing experience, amazing people and especially the tour guide, he showed us many many creepy spots and educated me on the history. I have captured a photo that is absolutely sends chills down my spine I will send a normal zoom and a enhanced brightness and zoomed in photo
The tour was interesting and sufficiently lengthy. We visited quite a few places in Sydney and heard the spooky stories behind them. I don't really believe in ghosts but the experience was worth the money. Come prepared to walk and bring an umbrella if there's a chance of rain.
Great walking tour ,the host was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour, we learned so much about the history of the rocks most of it was sad and barbaric and saw lots of historic buildings from 200 years ago .If you like history and crime this an excellent tour!!
I went years ago and still remember it fondly. Such a creative and entertaining way to get people engaged in the local history. Would highly recommend to locals and tourists alike.
Ghost tours by Gary made the experience. While I went for the history the general tour was pleasurable. If you are easily spooked it could be thrilling. It's a rather short tour and quick paced but I different side of The Rocks at night. 5 stars would recommend.
