We were left wondering whether the Pad See Ew was worth $28, Fat KAPOW $29, Green Chicken Curry$29. Chicken parmigiana and burger were priced comparable to other pubs. Service from staff was excellent and the atmosphere was ok. We felt that value for money fell short of expectations for this restaurant visit.
We arrived at the venue and it was boiling on the restaurant side.nn36° outside on a Tuesday and some ACs were turned off. When I asked if they could turn the one next to us on, they said they'll turn on the evaporative fan. They only turned the AC much later in the evening when more tables were full.nnAfter that we ordered some prawn spring roll and after my first bite, it felt extremely soft. The prawns didn't get cooked enough, my pregnant wife could have been very sick if she had it. When told about the incident, we were just refunded by cash after them acknowledging this was bad by the only caring staff.. Not discount or extra food served at no cost for that major failure..nnSteaks were ordered see pics, the sauce tasted like the gravy you could make a home from powder, the garlic sauce was as bad. Charging $40 for it was a crime..nnNot sure who was cooking and in charge of that place but there is some heavy changes to be made overall. The staff looked overstressed and the cook uncaring about how they cook stuff.nnI didn't put 1 star cos 1 staff was nice but that was the only highlight. We won't come back, you can keep your drinking buddies, not sure how many other eating families will follow until changes are made
Steak was served as according to my order, nice black pepper sauce and mushrooms sauce too. Thank you team and will be back.
Nice neighbour grill and bar. Had their Wed promotion... Porterhouse steak for $25. Super value for money. Done medium rare. My uncle and aunt had their senior set... Thai Green curry chicken with rice and comes with a glass of complimentary wine. Also for $25.
This is a good place to go out with family for an event. The ambiance is not very extravagant but very cosy. The staff was kind and friendly. There were plenty of parking spaces.
