The Recreation bistro x bottleshop opened in late 2016 serving clean, fresh and delicious dishes that draw upon the charcoal burning grill that has been especially built for the venture.

The drinks selection is available drink in or take away with a range of wines, beers and spirits from around the globe on offer.

'The Rec' is able to accommodate those in need of a quick coffee, refreshing drink or meal. We also allow BYO wine with a corkage charge for those looking to bring a special bottle.

Excellent spot for a delicious, and good value, lunch or dinner. Nice room and attentive service. Highly recommended.

Popped in for some light lunch. Delicious. Even bought some of thier home made bread it was so good

We went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and all of the food we ate was delicious and the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

The grass is greener at the Recreation. Brilliant staff and service and the food never fails to impress. Plus BYO your best wine and you've got yourself a good time.

Very very over priced and poor food. Mexican chicken mixed with Italian polenta.... my father had the Merguez sausages and they where the size of French fries for 35$. The risotto was like a quinoa salad.

Great food, stellar wine list, even better staff.
