I had a wonderful experience here—not just once, but twice! Both times, my goals were successfully achieved, and I couldn’t be happier.nnThe first time, in 2022, was for my son’s sleep training, and I was amazed at how well he responded. From the very first night at QEC, he started sleeping independently in his cot.nnThe second visit was to help with his feeding and weaning off bottles, and it was just as positive. The bottles are now gone for good, and he has started eating well again.nnI can’t recommend this place enough! The staff are incredibly supportive, kind, and patient. They empower you to take the lead in reaching your goals while offering invaluable guidance and encouragement throughout your stay. From counselling to practical tips, everything they provide is spot on.nnThe facility itself is very modern & accommodate all children/parents of all abilities. The space is warm, clean & fun.nnA big thank you once again!
This place is the absolute best! I had the best experience there and want to express my heartfelt thanks to all the lovely staff there in particular, Francis, Janine, Leanne & Robyn.nI stayed there for 3 nights with my 15 month old. He went from co-sleeping in our bed & feeding 3 or 4 times a night to sleeping in his cot the whole night, no feeds, going to bed earlier and learning to settle himself. The techniques they use really work- it’s amazing! I’m still in shock that it actually worked.. and so quickly!nOn top of the sleep goals being achieved, the place is lovely, clean & modern. The indoor/outdoor play spaces are fantastic and the kitchen is set up with everything you and baby/toddler might need. The food was absolutely delicious thanks Geraldine!. Each day, a staff member would be allocated to you but I found even the staff who were allocated to other people were just so lovely to talk to & full of invaluable knowledge. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you QEC for everything you did for me, my toddler & our family!
QEC saved my sanity, my 15 month old was co sleeping from the day he was born. QEC gave me the tools and tips and support to transition him to a cot. We stayed for 4 nights and had the most beautiful staff help us. Thank you to everyone to assisted us in our time there.
QEC changed my life. The support and education provided has helped me become the best version of myself, and the best mum to my little boy. The staff were incredibly supportive and we are eternally grateful for the guidance provided. We are both in a much better place mentally since our residential stay at QEC and hope other parents receive the same well above standard of care we were given. Thankyou especially to Bree :
The facilities are really nice, but unfortunately we had a really distressing experience. My poor boy has been left struggling to cope after spending one night trying out the “responsive” more like unresponsive settling strategies. Shutting a scared baby alone in an unfamiliar room to cry for extensive periods of time until they give up, is not my idea of “gentle” sleep settling. The next step when baby escalates their crying is to pat the bed and baby without looking at them and then leave them again.nWhen my baby eventually fell asleep from pure exhaustion, his startle reflex which had been gone for months returned at that moment and continued for the next two days. When leaving I was offered “a more hands on” approach but by then I’d lost my trust in their advice. I now have a lot of repair work to do with my little one.
