A new favourite location. The food is incredible and the staff often have us in fits of laughter, not that they're getting paid to entertain they just have fantastic energy and attitudes. The food is always consistently delicious and excellent value for money. The scallops and pork belly I'd go back for everyday! I'd like to see more wine choices and maybe a warmer vibe in the restaurant but we're more than happy to dine in the bar area.
We've dropped in here a few times over the last few years. The food and service is consistently good. Today's fare was outstanding; Pork Belly and Scallops with an amazing coleslaw, plus Hand made Gnocci with pumpkin and spinach, which was simply divine. The kitchen here really do pride themselves on the quality of their output.Food: 5/5

Visited 17/12/2022. Haven't dined here in a long time. The change of staff was refreshing, awesome manager and the staff were extremely welcoming. The food was yummy and we weren't asked to leave until well after closingWill definitely be returning. Parking: Plenty of parking considering it was a week out from christmas
Went there for dinner with my family. I ordered the 300 g Rump Steak with Mushroom Sauce. It was a good helping, tasted pretty good and was only 30 dollars. My wife had a Mini Parmigiana and my son a Mini Fish and Chips. Had a taste of both and they tasted good as well. The helping for both was very big. Only 10 each. A kid's meal is actually only served to kids, but they allowed my wife to have one that time Service was good and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing as well restaurant section
Just what we needed after a long week on our feet. Thought we would stop on our way home and glad we did. We had the Barramundi baby potatoes and brocollini, and Fish n Chips. Both meals were delicious. Friendly staff, nice and relaxing. Pricing was reasonable. The ale was perfect to wash it all down. We will be back to try more of the menu. Parking: Good 3 hour parking out front
Ive rated this place before as my go to for a cracking rump and pepper sauce meal. Has never failed me in over 3 years. Today it did, the peppercorn sauce which I have raved about to others looked like a pot of butter with peppercorns in the bottom. The steak was the same cut, but blue to rare and unedible. Was offered refund or recook, I just want the same steak that I could order week in week out. Let me know when you get that back.
Just had lunch in Principal, OMG garlic bread to die for, pork and scallops eccentric balanced and delicious. Service prompt and respectful. Good work guys.
I don’t mind this bar in restaurant as the service seems to be getting better and better, also after experiencing the indoor restaurant side of things they really do have a good option of the services you wish to pay for. So you really have three choices here do you have outdoor heated seating if that’s where you would like to eat you also have the indoor seating around the main bar or you could actually enter the restaurant side of things where is more table service and hands on. I find these three choices interesting to have in one setting and they always provide a decent meal and the size portions are quite generous so definitely worth a look if you’re in the area
Went to the principal for dinner on a Sunday, there wasn’t many people in the restaurant area, but the atmosphere was still good and cozy. Meals were prepared quickly and were cooked well, could’ve had a bit more sauce on the meals order but other than that great portions and great service. Will be back again.
