Update... Margie is the best asset to this cafe, 10 out of 10 for service!! Knows her customers names and orders and always bends over backwards for them. The point has now had a renovation and looks fresh and modern - just what it needed. Kitchen staff often don't meet expectations... you can really notice some days they don't want to be there and no care is put in. I am a breakfast regular, good breakfast and good food almost always. Oddly they don't have bottled water which I keep asking them to get in. But overall a good place to visit!

Have been here and loved it  BUT we arranged to have our Xmas party here  booked the day and time, when we rang to confirm our booking quit a few times, which we were told they would do,  the phone just rang and rang New owners who are renovating. Went to see what was going on and was told buy other people that they were not opening till the following week. If this is how you run a business you will not last long no recorded message no return phone call re our booking to let us know. Thank goodness we were able to find professional's who took our booking on short notice. Will i recommend Point 44 NO will we ever go back NO. Don't deal with unprofessional and incompetent people.

We had a nice late Breakfast, mixed grill was a good sized meal, great to have old traditional milkshakes in the metal mixing canasters.  Service was great and it is a nice area to walk around when you are done.  Well Done

Had a lovely dinner at The Point - Duck and Filet Mignon. Absolutely delicious food - great cocktails - service was great. Fantastic location for a nice stroll after dinner. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Staff are very accommodating and polite. Food was lovely, well priced, even the lunch deal was great, a lot of options to choose from. Will definitely go back again.

The food was great and it came out nice and quick. The staff were friendly too. Lunch meals were great value.

I would not eat there in a million years.. bad service, really bad food and if your lucky you get to drink oven cleaner... stay away from this restaurant..so many other wonderful restaurants on the Gold Coast that don't try and kill you with oven cleaner...

What very pleasant surprise.  The lamb just fell off the bone. Wow! The staff were very attentive. The food to die for value for money.

Food is good but pretty expensive for what it is. Also multiple of our dishes where messed up and we paid for but didnt recieve a side we ordered.

Brunch 10.00  10/06....Savoury mince does not have CHILLI....& is made from MINCE not crushed rissoles....change the cook!
