Geelong Pier just after dark — where the fading light meets the calm waters, creating a perfect moment of evening serenity.
Very relaxing with gardens along the waters edge and of the ice cream van! Perfect for covering yourself in chocolate and ice cream as you try to eat it before it all melts! As I sat on the steps down from the area to the waters edge I noticed how quite it was. Not even traffic noise. Just a lovely peaceful spot in a big city! Who knew! Wow!
Just attended a wedding last night at the Pier and to say it was amazing is an understatement. The staff are so kind and helpful. Biggest shout out to server Maddie I believe that’s your name I loved you!! Best service from her x
A magnificent location, well presented facilities. Attended a sponsored formal dinner sponsored by Caterpillar. The staff were great, the food was fantastic, while the atmosphere was tremendous.nnEntrees were pumpkin gnocchi and barramundi, while the mains were chicken and eye fillet.nnThe bar above is quiet pleasant and the whole area is a nice place for a quiet stroll, a vigorous walk or jog.
A fun spot to relax, people watch, catch the ferry to Melbourne, free WiFi, if, like me, you are visiting from another country and don’t have a data plan on your phone. Even caught a small antique car display here one day during one of my visits in Jan 2920.nnPeople were pretty friendly in general and I was able to lay on the grass, take in some sun while napping, and not once did I worry about my safety or my bicycle. Fun spot to take young kids too, plenty of places for food and drink and great spots for pictures.
