Story

The Photo Shop was established in February 2014 by Hazel Redmond.
We are a niche sales and service provider located in the Arcade, Ashburton.
The Photo Shop specialises in fine prints and photography.

Our services include; photo processing, passport photos, framing, canvas printing, film development & scanning, photo restoration & re-colour and VHS to DVD conversion. We also have a wide range of photographic supplies to service all your photographic needs.

Our prints are processed through the latest QSS Noritsu Dry Lab, which is built to deliver amazing high quality prints on a wide variety of paper stocks.
This helps us to ensure we reach our goal of providing you with the best quality experience and results.

Hazel, our owner operator, is a professional photographer specialising in architectural photography. This means you can be sure to expect; expert insights and quality advice relating to all realms of photography and printing.

The Photo Shop is a small business with a big heart. We pride ourselves in providing the best service we can in order to make your Photo Shop experience one to remember.

The Photoshop has been scanning my film negatives since it was founded in 2014. The scans provided have always been of high quality and Hazel is prompt to provide me with a Dropbox link so I have access to her service remotely Wellington. On occasions I have printed these scans with The Photoshop and I was provided with test prints and expert advice on which paper stock to use. The prints have since been framed and the receivers extremely happy with the quality and service.
