Great stop when on a road trip. Had Curry Beef pie, fries and salad and the Sirloin steak cooked medium rare with fries, salad and mushroom sauce on the side. Nice covered outdoor deck to relax and enjoy the meal. Both meals came to $51 so good price for 2 meals.
We were visiting town and arrived late lunch time to find that most cafes had stopped serving lunch, or had very limited options.nThe staff here were very friendly and helpful and offered us a full lunch, even though they had just stopped serving lunch.nThe food was excellent and we enjoyed eating outside except for the traffic.nIt is a good place for a quick bight if you are passing through.
So I didn’t need another addiction in my life. I tried their store made sausage roll this morning and was absolutely blown away. The quality, the flavour, the everything about this almost made me tear up.nI’ve tasted many a sausage roll in my life and in my travels, but this has hit the bar up really high. It was somehow juicy on the inside I would say due to quality ingredients with a perfect blend of meat and natural fats, perfectly balanced with flavour so you could taste the meat and was not over salted like a lot of places do to mask flavour.nnI didn’t feel like crap or get indigestion after having this again, due to not over salting and it was a perfect combination of freshly oven baked pastry and sausage mix.nnOverall this is a complete 10/10. You guys have nailed what a sausage roll should be and please don’t change. The price is on point for what you get.nnAnyone reading this, do yourself a favour and get one of these bad boys if you are going through Canungra. Or even make a special trip just to experience this perfection .nnKeep being awesome Outpost Cafe.
Ample seating inside or out. Great food, very reasonable prices, excellent coffee and great food. Full breakfast was $18. Very busy but service was exceptionally fast.
I travel around Australia for work and never have I had such a wonderful experience! Staff absolutely amazing and don’t get me started about the pies! The best in Australia hands down! Not to mention extremely cheap. Thanks guys I’ll be planning a family trip to this beautiful place for the end of the year
