Went for Sunday roast and loved it! Great atmosphere, delicious food and wine selection. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!
Lively pub with fabulous bistro style restaurant. Excellent menu makes ordering a wonderful challenge! Food is fabulous - go to items; freshly shucked oysters, steak frites & duck coquettes. Frites superb! Thank you, will be back!
Good little local pub in Darlinghurst. Perfect for an afternoon drink when the weather is nice. My mate and I always grab a seat outside. Plenty of beers on tap, so something for everyone. Really friendly service from behind the bar too. Winter means mulled wine and it's good. Also tried their food and it's just as good too. Worth trying out, if you're in the area.
Classic old school pub with a 'cosy' front bar, with live Jazz on a Sunday afternoon, which was an amazing jazz quartet accompanied by a phenomenal singer! Perfect. The food was a let down. We had the roast pork and it was child-size portions at best. The pork was beautiful, but hardly any of it and we had to look very hard to find any roast veggies on the plate and at $33 a pop, we deserved adult size servings. $15 for a glass of very average Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir is pretty steep too. Our tip, go for the music and the tap beers, save your money for a Sunday roast elsewhere. It's a terrific front bar tables out front too which will be prime real estate in summer but the food and wine leaves you wanting.
Great place although pricey for pub/hotel they’re double cheeseburgers and chips are excellent. Service was very friendly, polite and engaging. Bottle of rosé wine was expensive for a pub $74, but was excellent. We highly recommend this place.
