It's always a pleasure to discover new places that exceed your expectations. This morning, my friend and I had a wonderful brunch experience at The Oak. We ordered two waffles, and they were simply divine! The chicken was flavorful and stayed crunchy until my last bite. My favourite was the matcha latte which was a creamy and delightful concoction that left us all in awe. The best part? The ambiance of the restaurant was so cozy and welcoming - a true gem in the area. As if that wasn't enough, a rainbow greeted us as we walked in, making it even more special. Needless to say, I can't wait to go back and try more from their menu!
I've been here a few times but not for 12 months or so. Apparently it changed hands in that time so i was keen to check it out and it didn't disappoint. I had the Eggs Benny surprise surprise and it was bang on 10/10, sourdough not rock hard, just enough spinach, eggs perfectly cooked and the Hollandaise was sublime! My wife had the Rosti stack which she polished off and said it was nice. Coffee was also good and didn't wait long for either food or coffee but it was Friday morning. Well done at The Oak
We came here after pilates this morning, one of my friends got the salmon and avo, the child got bacon and eggs with hot chocolate, myself and my other friend got the potato rosti with crispy bacon, she added mushrooms, I did not. My friend with the salmon avo loved hers. The child was missing the marshmallows, which was easily fixed, however... both potato rostis came out mushy and not crunchy, so we sent them back, and they came back a tiny bit crunchy on outside but still mostly mushy, good flavour but when I order a rosti it should be crunchy! Get an airfryer! I ordered an Allies watermelon + juice for $7.50, I thought that for that price, I was getting the bottle, but she said the bottle was $18!!! WTAF!!! I get making a profit, but woah!!!
Great service from the minute I walked in.nDifficult decision on what to try it all looked so good.nEnded up with the waffles with nutella and marshmallows.nI loved the waffles. Just thought in my head presentation might be a bit different.
Interesting Café on the corner, near roundabout to M1. Pet friendly outside. Limited seating though and narrow areas with some steps. Açai bowl was good as was the Avacado and bacon waffles although could have had a bit more Avacado Coffee was good but the Lemon Tea was a bit too strong. Staff were friendly enough, so probably would come back again. Definitely worth a visit.
