If you’re after something warm, genuine and not over the top, it’s herennnHad the Italian Job toastie today and it absolutely hit the spot! Packed with flavour, perfectly toasted, and made with really fresh ingredients. The balance of fillings was spot on, and every bite was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating which I loved getting that winter sunshine on my skin. Such a lovely local café with a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through more of the menu!

I head to The Oak Cafe quite regularly for a coffee, and brunch on occasion. The coffee is consistently excellent, which I like. After years of grabbing an early morning take away coffee for the drive to work in Brisbane, I now have the time to sit down here and really enjoy my coffee. The staff are always friendly and provide great service.nnThe food has improved a lot from a few years ago - you only need to see how busy the cafe gets on weekends and during the morning. Obviously very good chefs now and an owner/manager who has worked hard to improve the cafe overall.nnHighly recommend this little cafe or the sister cafes Memento at Robina and Burleigh Heads.
Best mushrooms I've ever had! I ordered the Eggs Benny with mushrooms and it was super delicious. Really solid brunch option. I think the citrus hollandaise would work really well with the Bacon or Smoked Salmon Benny but was a bit too fruity to pair with the mushrooms, for my taste. Those mushrooms were SO GOOD! Really lovely atmosphere. We especially loved the funky ceramic cups. Plenty of space. We will definitely be back.
One of the cutest and most comfortable coffee shops I’ve been to. Their coffee and food are all 10/10 .nTheir staff is also the nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever met.nI can’t recommend this place enough.
