Definitely a place built for the 'gram, but seriously disappointed in the actual food.nnWe gave this place a shot because there queue at Lox, Stock and Barrel nearby was massive lesson: just wait in the queue, it means the food is good. And goodness, I regret our choice!nnI had the mushroom toast $26.50 which came out with a dome full of smoke, but pretty bland swiss mushrooms. The menu listed all kinds of trendy ingredients, but the 'mint labneh' was just a brush on the bottom of the plate.nnThe bagel was obviously a grocery store purchased bagel. Meh. With packets of butter and Vegemite. What is this, a McDonald's?nnWe struggled on the drinks front, too. They have drinks with fairy floss and my daughter wanted one. They offer iced chocolate with floss, cold lattes with floss and hot lattes with floss... but we were told that a 'hot chocolate with floss was not possible'. Even though they're already charging $8.50 for the drinks. I honestly don't see why it wasn't possible... even if we needed to pay more.nnDisappointing experience, especially given the great reviews. Come for the pix and then maybe have a good meal elsewhere
The nine tartine was to die for!!! i absolutely loved it. the açaí bowl was really good, i really appreciate that they don’t mix the açaí blend with any other fruit, that’s a rare find in Sydney so ill definitely go back for my açaí here.nThe coffee also was delicious and so cute with the koala on top thank you so much guys!
I had breakfast at The Nine Cafe. It was really yummy.nThe Eggs Benedict were fantastic, with perfectly poached eggs and rich hollandaise sauce.nI imagine myself sipping a freshly brewed cup of coffee while enjoying the view of Bondi Beach.nAfter breakfast, I will be back.
Really good food and the koala latte was cute. Wont fill you up but its still cool
Visiting from overseas and so delighted to have brunch at the Nine. The cafe was open and airy and we were served very quickly. The food was delicious and visually stunning. My husband ordered the Salmon Bagel and it was a work of art. We split the brioche French toast and the candy floss on top was a cute touch. Loved the koala stamp on our lattes. Highly recommend!
