Great cafe location, friendly service, the coffee was available with almond milk which was a very pleasant surprise and the price was good too, considering this is a very long way from anywhere else!

I enjoyed the cafe's eclectic retro decor and vibe. History of the cafe's name is fascinating and worth reading. Coffee was good but not so the service. An awkward amount of time passed before we were acknowledged, the 2 staff members more interested in continuing their quite lengthy personal conversation. Embarrassing.
cool decor, friendly staff, great music! ordered the smashed avocado, which was overall tasty, but eggs were cold and toast was soggy. Chai was excellent!
Coffee is average, the big red recliner seats are great and comfortable. There’s a decent number of snack options to along with your coffee too.
Limited selection for breakfast, all from a cabinet. Nonetheless the fruit toast hit the spot. Kudos for the ham & cheese croissant being well toasted. So often other places don't toast enough.
Coffee here was good and we each had cheesecake which were not much more than a sliver... very small with spray can cream! A smile by staff would have been a nice welcome to this cafe. We won’t be back and would not recommend it. The bake house opposite has friendly staff and a reasonably priced menu.
Lovely layout of cafe and lovely guy who served us. Not many food options except cakes and sandwiches. We had a long day of travel and this waa the only cafe in town open and were hoping for healthy and substantial meals.
Spent 3 says in Winton, great little town but this cafe is a let down. The service, coffee and food were well below par. Try the Australian Hotel across the road. Much much better!!
Coffee was very nice and served promptly.Lunch menu all heavy pub food with no flexibility to order anything from varied breakfast menu...not even simple raisin toast. Had to resort to a hamburger which was OK, but the caesar salad, which had fresh lettuce, was nothing else but greasy fried croutons an egg and a couple of bacon slivers if you searched hard. Would not recommend.
