The Moa's Nest

We went there last weekend with a grab one coupon. We order a fish & chips and a chicken breast around 1:30 pm. After 40 minutes of wait, we talk to the waiter regards to our meal as it is a bit too long for the wait. In those 40 minutes no one came to exchange a couple of words and to acknowledge the long wait. They've ignored us. The waiter's explanation was "they are very busy right now and it will take another 10 minutes for our fish and chips." We then ask him why the lady can get her chips faster than us when she comes much later than us. He said it is because she only orders chips and not fish and chips........Finally, our fish and chips arrived 1 hour after we order. If you have enough time to wait for your fish and chip then it may be fine. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

My son and I ordered omelettes. They were so overcooked they were like leather and were so salty we only ate half and couldn't eat any more. My wife and daughter both had lamb burgers which were overcooked, dry and tasted like carpet. My wife also had an egg on her burger which was also overcooked and tasted like rubber. Possibly a good bar but definitely not a place to eat.

Booked at 5pm but we decide not to watch movie so went in early. Told the staff we are 30mines early and asked if it's OK we have dinner now. He said OK. Had a seat and just waited for 20mintes. Finally he came to our table and ask if we want dinner now or wait till 5pm.?!*@&$^#&#* it was booked for 3 people and all 3 of us were there. Didn't even offer water or tell us how this groupon meal gonna serviced. Steak was so thin and cooked well done when we asked for medium rare and... to be honest it was the toughest steak I ever eat. Sauce on steak was commercial one that smells weird. Waiter never smile or friendly and we didn't even know where we gonna get cutlery when food was serving without it. Biggest hit is all 3 of us now suffering from stomachache ill after the meal. not gonna be back.

I too ordered an omelet, probably the worst attempt at making an egg I have ever seen. It was like someone attempted to scrambled an egg then halfway through remembered that they were making an omelet then winged it to make it look like an omelet but ended up burned with no seasoning and then the ham which ended up being missing. But the coffee was decent.

Terrible, coffees were brought to us cold, and nearly 20 mins before our breakfast. The breakfast was also cold, and I was served deep fried, spiral sausages which were dry. The only thing that could help me with the dry, overcooked sausages was a drink - unfortunately I drank my coffee while waiting

To all the previous reviews ya'll must just be real picky that's why you had bad experiences. I go to Moa's Nest two to three times a year to just have some alone time usually before a movie I always order the Pizza of the day. they have awesome pizza for sure and they taste yum. and their pizza's are definitely made fresh as you can tell by the pizza base...as for drink's I always have a long island and it has had its off times where it wasn't made the way i like it but as soon as i told the bar tender he right away made a fresh one so there to all you complaining pricks there is nothing wrong with MOA'S nest Cafe n Bar

A comment to the unhappy Karaoke Singer, We always try let the singers have their time on the mike as that is what it is all about. If I have sung a song through the night it will be because it was requested and unfortunately the Moas does get busy with its Club Members as the night rolls on, I think busy kind of speaks for it self really! Pity you were missed on this night. Every Thursday @ the Nest, 8 till Late The Karaoke Club is open, Doesn't matter what Age, Taste of Music, You will be welcomed at the Moas! The Nest Has The Best!

We came here with a grab one voucher. The menu we were given was far inferior to that which is given to customers who do not have a grab one voucher. I ordered a chicken burger. It was terrible. Say no more! We will not be going back.

I had a Westfield voucher that needed using and I got the best meal in a shopping mall one can hope for. I had their Lamb Shank special which cost only $15 and it was far better than I expected!

Went to grab a bite before the movie, wish I hadn't. Lamb burger was burnt and very dry. My partners Chicken burger was flaverless and bun was so overcooked that it was impossible to eat
