Great little local gallery and artist space that showcases local artists and houses studios for local artists to work out of and create there exhibitions.
A brilliant community of supportive creatives. Looking for a studio space to pursue your creative passion, be it professional or hobby? Or maybe a private rehearsal space or performance venue? The Mill has got you covered, son. A true asset to the Adelaide art scene. Would recommend. 10/10, would Mill again!
an absolutely amazing CREATIVE HUB! I’d highly recommend the mill if you’re looking for a studio space with great facilities and supportive staff and artists. I’ve also seen a few theatre performances in the space that have been really engaging. I’m really into it. Heaps into it.
A Guildhouse presented lino- print workshop at the Mill was a productive joy. Hooray for artist's spaces!
I went in to get some flour ground as per the name of the place, and despite being leaving with a full sack of un-milled wheat and barley, got to see some pretty amazing artist spaces and art. Jokes aside its an excellent artist space of the kind that you don't see much anymore the hat man is especially excellent 10/10.
A unique gallery/development space that provides the grounds for local artists to thrive. Such an important & thought-provoking venue!
One of the top venues for independent theatre and art in Adelaide. Particularly busy during Fringe time but there's lots of things on throughout the year. Take the time to visit.
We mainly utilised the performing area, which was nice an intimate. Good for small shows with a powerful message. The people who work there were very kind and very helpful. Other people who use the Mill's workshop areas were kind and usually kept to themselves as did we.
Interesting venue for small acts. I wasn't overly impressed in what seemed to be an overly complicated Covid protocol before the show, though.
It's an affordable facility with lot of things going on. I like the available infrastructure and equipment. But workshop and studio house keeping needs more thought to feel creative.
