Beautiful little find, hard to get a table inside and they wouldn’t even consider letting us know when a table was free inside because we were only a table of 2. Our coffees came out without a saucer so it meant the waiter was putting their fingers right where your mouth goes. The seating arrangement outside is the weirdest set up. I’m 5 foot 2, sitting on a tall bench that my knees are over the top of the table and I’m looking down at the person opposite me. The front waitress seems really rude and unfriendly. The BEST thing about this place is the taste of the coffee and the flavour of the food. And they do VEGAN food yay!!! Would love to go back and see if we have a better experience!
The food is good and the people friendly. The only issue I felt was the outside seating. It was uncomfortable and the table was too low for the stone bench. With a baby, only outside sitting is viable, I hope the restaurant invests in better outdoor seating.
This place is a super cute cafe with well thought out yet wholesome décor. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.nnTheir menu is good with vegetarian and vegan options. My Macha Affogato was delicious and had what I think was a coconut sorbet texture/flavour. The magic mushy toasty was yummy but a lil too rich for me to finish. Overall I had an enjoyable experience. A quaint and beautifully put together cafe. We ordered breakfast and received our meals quickly. They were more than happy to veganise a number of dishes. I had the avocado on toast as well as a pineapple and spirulina juice. I believe they are operating with a different menu with fewer options as displayed on here at the moment. There was no farmer’s breakfast, Byron Bay salad, fitters, burger or salad. That could have just been the day or time we were in, though.
Absolutely loved the shakshuka here! The rich, flavorful tomato base with perfectly poached eggs made for a delightful brunch experience. The sourdough toast was fresh and complemented the dish beautifully. The café ambiance is spot on, and the service was friendly and efficient.nnOnly slight feedback: a tad more food would have made it perfect. Otherwise, a fantastic spot for breakfast, highly recommended!
