Excellent margaritas. Delicious paella with fresh seafood. An excellent presence and enthusiasm from the owner. Friendly staff. I went 2 nights in a row and didn't feel silly dining alone as I ate at the bar and had warm, friendly interactions with the staff. Well done, guys.
The Mexican Yamba isn't a bad place. The food is good and the staff are friendly. The prices are slightly over priced for what you get, but the turnover of people say the place is popular. It's worth a try.
We visited Friday night. The place was full. Tables were being fully cleaned between table settings. We enjoyed 4 different dishes. 3 dip plate, nacho beef, stake Mexican style and an enchilada. All very tasty. Customers varied from couples, to families, to friends meeting up. Enjoy.
The new owners have done an awesome job revamping the menu! Food, cocktails and service were all amazing 10/10
Nice place and decor - prices a bit high but good food. Staff needs to step it up with the service. We received our food but we couldn't eat it because we didn't have any cutlery, we ask to the waitress to bring cutlery and drinks and we received the drinks first and no cutlery. So we were staring at our food like for 5 minutes.
Great experience! There were plenty of appetizers to pick from. The jalapeno poppers and Baja bowl we're delicious! Excellent food and great drink choice. We'll be back!
We're hoping for a decent meal, got far better than that. Excellent Mexican which is very rare in Australia, let alone in resort or regional areas. Great menu and flexible, super service and vibe, well priced. A rare gem.
Had dinner there tonight and I could not be more impressed. We have a 5 month old baby and the staff were awesome. For a Tuesday night it was surprisingly busy but the service, food and drinks were great. I would highly recommend this little restaurant to anyone and am looking forward to going again.
Great staff great food great atmosphere fantastic margaritas.... Great night out. Highly recommend this place.
