Decided to go here for my 40th birthday and boy did meat and wine co make it a memorable one. Everything from the sitting space, the staff, the food was absolutely perfect. Thank you! Will definitely come again.nnLoved the fact that they also had a baby change table in the washrooms. Also, the sitting area is was quite spacious as well. Absolutely no problem going in with a baby in a stroller.
Excellent place to dine. The food is superb every time. We orders the entree tasting platter which comprised of bruschetta, sausage, pork belly, calamari, and slaw. Everything on the platter was great besides the sausage which was dry. For mains we orders the monte fillet. It is a 200g steak and cooked to perfection based on your request. They have a variety of sauces to choose from and you may wish to choose between chips, mash or salad as a side. We also ordered the market greens which were divine and the Greek salad. Our server was great at assisting us choose a red wine to match and was very attentive during service. We obviously overstayed our welcome busy chit chatting away but the staff never made us feel unwelcome and judged. Honestly a great experience and would definitely return
We came at lunch time. A little steep in price if you have a booking of 11 or more, because there's a compulsory gratuity 10% charge. The food was very good. Very busy lunch time crowd and we came on a Thursday. Has upstairs and downstairs area. Very tasty and overall delicious food. Definitely go for the express lunch offer. Come hungry as the servings are decent. Good value for 3 courses, $49 including glass of drink.
My work friends and I went for the $49 express lunch and we shared our dishes. Everything was delicious but my personal favourite for each course would be: pork belly as entree, rump for main and date cake for dessert. For the complimentary drink, I selected the Shiraz and it was not very good. I also felt that the service was a bit lacking/slow but overall I was really impressed with the comfortable experience, and I’m still keen to come back and try other dishes
Went for a Friday lunch and ordered an Express Menu lunch for two. IMO it's a good value for money as everything tasted really good. The Rump Steak and Pork Ribs were cooked to perfection which we enjoyed so much eating it! Def will come back ASAP!
