Ordered chips and gravy whilst having a couple of drinks.Took 45 mins for them to come out.Not that busy. Soggy chips and gravy that was like dish water. How can they get it so wrong.
Found this little gem last night, Food was amazing, drinks were well priced, the Mulled wine was delicious, the atmosphere was outstanding, casual but relaxing and inviting, as for the music they were all amazing to listen to we will definitely be back again and again. so glad we found this place.
Interminable wait for drinks in an almost empty bar. Music great. Venue charming. Awful customer service. Awful and unprofessional bar service. Sunday afternoon after taking in a movie. Combative attitude from the barmaid who seemed not to know how to pour a Guinness properly. Drinks left on the bar half filled seemingly forever to warm up and we were treated to patronising and sarcastic comments when we asked about them. Totally spoiled any welcoming vibe in the place. By our third look as to why our pints were still sitting half filled under the taps, we had already reluctantly munched through an overpriced packet of cheese Twisties and were idly using our fingers to stamp up crumbs in the bowl … interminably … waiting … Did not appreciate the same service staff member hinting at their vaccination politics when we fronted the bar to show our vaccination certificates. Not interested, not appropriate. Very disappointing experience and unprofessional attitude.
Lovely place to sip a drink and listen to the live music,in the afternoon.
We had a catch up here with many friends on Saturday, everyone loved it. Such great ambience, good music, wonderful staff and reasonably priced. We will all be back Thank you for the fabulous memories

This bar used to be a fixture at Fremantle Markets. When they moved to Essex St, they brought some of the original decor and art. Good vibes, live music, delicious finger foods. Perfect!
