Fuming, went into the mall briefly and 3 days later get a $65 parking ticket. I’m not local and didn’t assume it’s pay for parking as I go to Lower Hutt mall all the time. It’s cheaper to drive to Lower Hutt and back and go to a decent mall as-well. $65 is well steep for mall parking ticket. Clearly it’s the only way they make money as they have like 6 shops.
65$ parking ticket for staying 2min over. Cafes mid and overpriced only good thing is the wearhouse. Save your time and money don’t park or shop there. If you get a parking ticket at the mall you don’t have to pay it they can’t legally make you pay. $65 is pretty steep for a parking ticket, I was literally there for 15mins and there was PLENTY; almost empty, parking spaces.nNot a local to Upper Hutt and didn’t know I had to pay for parking. Would’ve paid anywaysnDefinitely won’t be back to support the mall, seeing all the 1 star and negative reviews on here regarding the parking + a petition to change the parking permissions with the Upper Hutt mall.nIf you’re going to pay for parking you might as well driving into Wellington and shop there.nMerry Christmas
Postie Plus has a good sale and wide variety of clothing. Great cafe on ground floor for a relaxing break between shops. A good selection of shops between boutique clothing to those on a budget :-. A bonus is free street parking on offer in Upper Hutt :- .
Was a random stop which was great for a break from driving back to Hutt from Kapiti.nSad that you have to pay for parking in a deserted spot. Was really quiet due to holiday season.nWould be better off parking on the street if free and available if looking for a quick coffee break and put stop.
